  • Staying at Giorgio's place was our first experience on AirBnB, and it was great! The appartment is absolutely lovely. Very clean, sunny, cosy and well situated: 10mn walk from the subway, 20mn from the Colisseo, but everything near if you take the bus.
Giorgio was totally available by e-mail before we came and once we were there if we had questions, which was very reassuring.
We loved that stay and will strongly recommend this place to any friend who is looking for a perfect place to stay in Rome, in a very quiet district of the city.

  • This apartment is a find in Testaccio. It is clean, modern and roomy - nice large bedroom with balcony overlooking Roman ruins and lovely morning sunshine. Kitchen/living and eating areas are one room but comfortable for a couple. Nice roomy and modern bathroom. Most importantly, Giorgio is a great host; responds immediately to questions and when the internet stopped working he had a friend come over to troubleshoot. His online map of the best places to eat and explore was very helpful. Testaccio is a fun neighbourhood and this apartment is an easy walk to Piramide subway, to Ostiense train station (direct train to Fiumicino airport) and to the Forum/Circo Massimo/Colosseum area. You cannot go wrong renting this apartment.

  • Cozy, clean and comfy is exactly how Giorgio describes his place and I must agree!

My wife and I arrived for the start of our honeymoon earlier then expected and Rowena (the cleaning lady) was just finishing up, so we knew everything was clean. The apartment has plenty of room and is about 650-700 sq ft and divided in three. The bathroom to the left, the kitchen/dining/living room in the middle and the bedroom to the right.

The bathroom is very clean with a standing room shower. Towels are provided.

The bedroom has a comfortable King sized bed where you can just "Crash-Out" after long days of walking through the cobbled streets of Rome. Looking out the balcony you can see some Roman ruins.

Giorgio has a washer, but no dryer. But that's okay because you can hang your wash on the clotheslines on the balcony like everyone else. Giorgio provides detergent. =)

If you're bringing adapters, Giorgio has electrical plugs that will fit both the skinny two pronged Italian adapters or the Schuko adapters which have the thicker prongs and are grounded.

The neighborhood of Testaccio that Giorgio lives in is a little gem! It has some of the BEST and authentic Roman restaurants in Rome. Giorgio provides a little map with some of his recommendations. We tried to eat dinner in Testaccio rather than in touristy Rome.

Testaccio is a 10 minute bus ride to the city center and there are plenty of bus lines that will take you there. You can buy 1,3 and 7 day bus passes at the Tabacchi shop just around the corner.

I would highly recommend Giorgio's place and we hope to come back and stay there again.

. Wij waren zeer tevreden over ons verblijf!

  • We stayed at Giorgio's place for 5 days on October. It was very clean and spacious apartment in a great neighbourhood! Everything seen on the pictures are accurate :)
Yes it is a bit outside of the city center which we loved most. He welcomed us with a warm smile and gave us quick recommendations on what is where. We enjoyed our stay very much and if we come back to Rome again, we will choose Giorgio's place.

  • Giorgio's flat is stunning. Super clean, gorgeous furniture, one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in, great shower, and quiet at night. We fell in love with this spot. The neighbourhood is well-deserving of its reputation. Giorgio's recommended cafes and restaurants nearby were brilliant (although we ended up eating and drinking in the Trastevere most nights). It's a really pleasant walk along the river into the heart of Rome.

  • Clean and spacious apartment in a great neighborhood! Giorgio is a great communicator. We go there late due to our flight and Rowena (who lets you into the apartment since Giorgio is out of the country) was kind enough to stay late to meet us. Overall, a really positive experience. Would definitely recommend this apartment!
