I stayed in Celesta's apartment during April 2015 with a group of four other people (five of us in total) and it was perfect for our needs. The apartment is one metro stop (15-20 minute walk) away from Central Station, which is ideal for taking day trips to areas around Naples. There are also many supermarkets nearby that are fairly priced, making cooking easy. We always felt safe in our neighborhood, and had no problems walking to the central sites in the city. Celesta's mother greeted us when we got there, and she was a great hostess. We were provided with a map and tour book, which really came in handy during our stay. Overall, we felt very welcomed, and enjoyed our time in Naples.
The apartment from Celesta is really nice and thanks to signora Mena we discover many nice restaurants and secret spots from Naples.
The flat is nice but since it does't have a real heating it was cold during the night. Therefore I would recommend to stay in this flat in the Summer. The area is really nice but wifi is not working in the apartment only downstairs so it´s actually a flat with no internet.
The big disadvantage was that we never got to meet Celesta and the communication didn't work really well, but signora Mena took really good care of us.
I greatly enjoyed my stay at Celesta's apartment. Though I did not meet Celesta herself, her mother Mena was most welcoming and provided city guides and restaurant recommendations. The apartment complex itself is unique and I recommend staying here by yourself or with a small group.
We really loved this apartment. The building is awesome and it is located in a very vibrant area only a short walk to the metro, the archaeological museum and other sites. Great pizza restaurant recommended by the hosts just down the road. The apartment has a lot of character and is very nicely decorated. The ceiling is a little low (if you are very tall it might be a problem) and you have to go downstairs to use the wifi but all in all we would definitely come back here. Great value for money, friendly hosts and we thought that the little extras provided like jam, milk, butter etc were a very nice touch.
Celestas apartment was full of character - she is a talented artist and has furnished the room to make it warm, relaxed and comfortable.
The apartment was clean and tidy, and Celesta had kindly left a few provisions out for us.
Everything worked, and it was quiet at night.
The building was the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. Words cannot describe the feeling of history all around.
A real, organic, personal slice of Napoli.
Celestas lovely mother was there when we needed her, and gave us warmth and love.
We will return soon I hope.

About the Host, Celesta
I think curiosity and wonder are the motor of life. They're what most keeps you alive.
Explore and be hungry of the new, never let you transport from the routines. Daily routine is a killing machine. I keep exploring by painting and traveling. Explore in and explore out.
I like to socialize with people from other countries and cultures.
I love my city and would love to welcome you!
