About Pai, Thailand
Pai is a small town, nestled in a lush valley in Northern Thailand. A gentle breeze blows often, cool and refreshing, as one finds only in the Northern Thai region.
Foreigners and Thais co-exist here in a harmonious melange of artists, musicians, city-dwellers on holiday, nature enthusiasts, and adventurous backpackers.
Most people extend their stay when possible, and many return to this special place. This has led to an increase in tourist numbers, and an improved infrastructure to accommodate more people.
Despite some progress, Pai is still a beautiful and charming place, where you can find relaxation quiet.
Our cafe is usually open, but sorry, there is no kitchen space available for guests.
Other Things to Note
Please Note: Our place emphasizes nature, not modern luxuries! And while we have done our best to ensure the quality of the wifi, beds, etc., there is
NO AC, there are NO TVs in the rooms. Also, if you do not have motorized transport, it will require at least TEN MINUTES WALK TO TOWN.
Mosquito nets are provided, but the BUNGALOWS ARE NOT COMPLETELY SEALED to the outside elements, so you may encounter some geckos or bugs!
We had a great time here, and enjoyed our room and hosts very much. I planted a cactus with their son, and had a very relaxing and cool experience here. The rice paddies are a nice authentic touch to the stay, as you won't get a ton of Thai authenticity during your stay in Pai. Be warned - there are a lot of bugs here, and you will definitely encounter them. I don't know if this is something you'll be able to avoid anywhere in Pai, so just be prepared.
This place was awesome! So unique and a lot better than staying in town where it gets noisy or crowded. Loved the surrounding and the mountains too. The room itself was awesome with a nice fan and sweet hammock!
The Ing Doi bungalows were the perfect stop for Noelle and I. Just a short walk or scooter ride into the main bustle of Pai. We only stayed 2 nights (always on the move!), but would have stayed much longer if we could. Ming was fun and flexible. A perfect Thai experience in the scenic valley with a delicious mulberry shake to replenish us after a long hot day!
Very quaint bungalow in the mountains. Loved the location, perfect for some peace and quiet!
