This charismatic Lakeland cottage occupies a blissfully secluded
setting midway between the picturesque villages of Glenridding and
Patterdale, close to the southern tip of breathaking Ullswater.
Beautifully presented and equipped, this dreamy cottage was the local
Police house until 1946 and is therefore aptly named. The location, in
Grisedale Bridge, is truly romantic with wonderful views of the
surrounding mountains, also to Ullswater from the first floor landing.

Cosy up by the warming woodburner and take advantage of inclusive Wi-Fi
to plan your day ahead. Will it be a stroll along England's most
beautiful lake, the five minute walk from the cottage to Glenridding
pier where steamers will take you to other destinations, or a more
adventurous climb up infamous Helvellyn? It really is no wonder
Wordsworth made his home here...
