I spent 5 days in Beirut this September with my friend. The place was perfect for us. It was a good price and very clean and comfortable. The location was good and the staff in the hotel were really friendly.
Mohamad was a very nice host. He met us when we arrived to make sure everything was ok and even took us out for the day in his car and to a great schwarma place!
I just got back from staying at this apartment for a week and it was great. The hotel staff were friendly, especially Omar ( I think that was his name) who went out of his way to be friendly and helpful.
The hotel really is a two minute walk to Hamra, which has a lot of bars, shops and cafes. It is off the main road, but it still gets traffic noise. This is just how life is in a compacted city like Beirut, so it wasn't anything I didn't expect.
Some of the fixtures of the room were a little worn, but everything worked and was very clean. I will definitely look into stay here again during my next visit.
Also, Mohamad scheduled a taxi to pick me up at the airport which was helpful.
great location in beirut, very convenient place, good price. Mohammad was very helpful and caring. I am looking forward to visit again. cheers
We arrived in Beirut and were met at the airport by a taxi driver named Mohamed, arranged by Mohamed who we booked our apartment through. The rate of the taxi was inexpensive in comparison to a typical taxi rate to the airport.
We arrived at the apartment and met Mohamed there. Very warm, inviting and friendly. The apartment itself was bright, had a great view of Beirut from it's 2 balconies, and was clean. The bed was comfortable as well.
The location was great. Right near the main Hamra Street with great shopping and some wonderful restaurants. It is also a nice walk along the oceanside to see the pigeon rocks (maybe a 30 minute walk).
The breakfast provided by the apartments was good and traditional.
The shower had lots of warm water and toilet and sink functioned perfectly. The only complaint we had was that the water pressure of the shower head was limited. This isn't a huge issue at all though.
We also had the opportunity to travel to the Jeita Grotto with Mohamed and his fiance. Lebanon is such a beautiful country. Very delicious food, beautiful countryside, incredible history, and very very genuinely good and helpful people.
We would recommend a visit to Lebanon for anyone. We loved Lebanon and hope to return soon.
Mohamad was very helpful even before we arrived. He answered our questions immediately. A nice surprise was that we got free Wi-Fi access when we arrived. The appartment itself is spacious and clean and in a mixed building which hosts an hotel and furnished rooms. It is near Hamra Street which is one of the central streets of Beirut where shopping, nightlife, etc. is happening. We are happy with the service - however don`t expect a 5* standard - it is a clean, spacious accomodation at a good price. I would go there again.
