The Space

Modern loft on the eighth floor of a recently constructed building with queen size bed or two single beds.
Paraguay Street, Palermo Hollywood.

Decorated with a minimalistic style and inviting furniture.

The apartment has two-story floor to ceiling windows.

These windows let in lots of light and offer a magnificent view of the green gardens below.

There are a large swimming pool (heated during summer) and a jacuzzi among the amenities that can also be seen from the apartment.

It is conveniently located in the Palermo neighborhood known for its fine restaurants and cafes as well as its shopping, also walking distance from Las Cañitas district.
One block away from Santa Fe Avenue , the metro line D. (Carranza) and the train station (Carranza). Metro is the best and fastest way to travel around the city, you can reach the city centre, San Telmo and Recoleta with this line.

On the first floor there are a living room, an open american style kitchen, and a balcony with chairs and table where one can enjoy breakfast or even a meal.

On its second floor a bedroom, a closet and a complete bathroom that also gets good light. There is also a digital safe.
The bed is a queen size double bed that can also be converted into two single beds (please let us know in advance so we can prepare the beds accordingly)

The loft has excellent equipment: LCD TV screen, high speed wi-fi, AC system, fridge, freezer, phone, cable TV including foreign channels in English .

The building has 24 hour security, gym, sauna, an open grill space on the terrace, heated swimming pool and jacuzzi in the gardens.

The apartment is located in Palermo, more precisely in Palermo Hollywood, which got its modern nickname after some of the major TV and radio studios moved there but is best known for its nightlife, which includes some of the best restaurants, bar and clubs in the city. Another sub-area of Palermo – Palermo Soho – is very near the apartment, just crossing Av. Juan B. Justo and it is the fashion epicenter of BA.
Palermo is a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood. There are no much offices apart from the design and software firms that are principally located in the area. It is also the area for modern and stylist furniture stores.
It’s a zone with a lot of old, Spanish-style architecture, more than other areas of the city. The combination of low houses, wide streets and trees lends it a nice atmosphere.
Security is not an issue in Palermo, as it is not in most of the neighborhoods you are probably going to visit (Palermo, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, San Telmo). You are going to be able to walk around at every hour of the day.

  • We had a lovely time in Marcos apartment. We are currently travelling around South America and spent Christmas there. As we have been away from home for so long, we found the apartment to be very cosy and homely. It had everything we needed - was close to supermarkets and the metro station, clean and tidy. The pool was a great addition too, especially in the heat of Buenos Aires!

  • The apartment was clean, modern, and well stocked with all the necessities. Martin was easy to communicate with and all arrangements were smooth and seamless. Unlike other reviewers, the train noise did not bother us at all. If location is a top priority (as in being in the middle of the action) this apartment is a tiny bit out of the way- not far by car or taxi- but not exactly in walking distance of the main areas of Palermo.

    Response from Marcos:

I was out of the city when Paola arrived and couldnt meet her to tell her about the neighborhood, there is a lot of "action" ie restaurants, bars, cafes, at walking distance (two minutes away), also the subway is half a block from the apartment.

  • Great place and super nice hoast, Marcos! The pool is excellent and we really enjoyed all the lovely cafees and restaurants close to the apartment - especially Oui Oui stole our hearts.

  • Stayed here for over a month! Really the best location, often went running to the park! The apartment is great, everything what you need. Also the house is great: gym, sauna, pool and a rooftop parrilla! The trains & especially the train-bell is kind of annoying but it reminds you that you're in this great city. In the end it didn't bother me at all!!
Also Marcos was very helpful! Thanks!

    Response from Marcos:

Luckily, the train bell will be removed when the walking bridge over the train tracks is finished. This will happen in about a month from now!! So, noise issues will be over!!

  • I stayed in this Palermo Hollywood loft for two weeks and I was not disappointed. It's situated in a great place with both the Train and Subway stations nearby. Some may say the train is a bit close, but I do not mind noise. It reminds me of where I am.

There are plenty of great cafes, bars, restaurants in the area (it's Palermo, of course there are). It's a 15min walk from Plaza Serrano or Las Canitas where there is more nightlife action.

The apartment itself is very comfortable. It has the normal wear and tear (email hidden)d-in place, but the setup and furniture is comfortable. Marcos also provides all of the things you need for an extended stay.

I would definitely stay here again. Don't even question it. If it's available, move it to the top of your priority list unless you have a specific area in mind.

  • This apartment is really great. It is very well equipped and comfortable. It is very close to both train and subte stations. It was a little noisy, being right next to the train tracks.

  • It was my first time in Buenos Aires and Marcos' apartment really helped to make my stay even more enjoyable. The building is located in Palermo Hollywood, a very nice and safe neighborhood to be in. If you enjoy walking or running, you can make your way to tons of parks and nice restaurants (plus there are a lot of cafes just a few blocks away).

The bed was confortable, the shower was perfect and there is also an air conditioner and a heater in the apartment, so you can stay there either during the summer or on the winter. Those two-story windows were AMAZING. There was a lot of sunlight coming in all day long. You should definitely grab something to eat at Oui Oui, a cafe nearby, and watch the sunset from the balcony.

Marcos is a helpful, polite, nice guy. Both the doormen were friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely stay there the next time I'm in Bsas :)

  • Staying at Marcos place was an excelent experience - the loft looks exactly like the pictures and it was spotless (which is very important to me). Marcos is a great host, highly recomend his place.

  • Marcos was a reliable and efficient host. The apartment was fine but basic and is only rented out for short stay. Pictures to be somewhat flattering compared to what we found. The apartment is located next to the railway station. If you need a place to stay in Palermo for a few nights, this is fine but do not expect too much.
