  • For us, Lucy's flat is as good as home. If we could, we'd rent this airbnb all year. It's as close to perfect in London that you could ask for. It's gigantic, plenty of room to stretch out, and still has a cozy room for borrowing Lucy's netflix account on appletv. Internet is fast and the kitchen is fully equipped. The walk in shower is heavenly and probably the best we've had in a few years. Transport links are amazing so you can get anywhere, and most in town things are easily walkable. We stayed for nearly 3 months and saved a lot by walking instead of taking the tube. Excellent restaurants and some of London's oldest and most famous pubs are easily reachable within a 15 minute walk. The outdoor patio is really nice and only becomes nicer as the weather warms up. Lucy made all communication very easy, no problems. Stay at Lucy's.

  • We had a perfect 8 day stay at this wonderful apartment. I would definitely go back. Lucy is a great host, the apartment is well equipped and the location is great. What I loved the most was the underfloor heating in the bathroom.

  • Lucy's home was not only beautiful and spacious but in a fabulous area so close to the heart of London. This is a home away from home - I'll really miss being there. This is a space that is instantly relaxing, with all the necessary mod cons, wi-fi and the bonus of an out door area and garden to enjoy. Lucy, is an excellent host, communicating promptly and efficiently, and amenable to all your needs. Highly recommended! Thank you again!

  • Absolutely adored Lucy's apartment. Cute as can be. It's centrally located, a five minute walk from Russel Square underground station, which takes you directly to and from Heathrow. It's a 10 minute walk to Farringdon station, which basically gives you access to all of London. It's perfect for foodies and, especially, coffee geeks. It's near some of the best specialty coffee shops in London like Workshop Coffee, Espresso Room, and Prufrock Coffee. There's a 24/7 grocery a few blocks away as well. The flat has everything you could need, including a super cute patio. The bathroom is awesome and clean. The bed is a little soft so it wasn't ideal for someone like me with a poor back but I slept very well nonetheless. The flat is near many universities so it can get loud at night but overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Lucy's flat again.

  • We had a terrific, long (6-week) stay in Lucy's flat during June and July 2013. The flat looks exactly as pictured; it is very nice, quite large, comfortable, with lots of light from the large windows. Kitchen and bathroom are great, and there is a small but very usable outdoor garden/patio. There was an extended heat wave during our visit, but the temperature in the flat stayed comfortable, especially on the lower floor where the bedroom is located. The flat is quiet, too. No problems with loud street or neighbor noise.

A few other things: We liked the location. Plenty of good pubs/restaurants within walking distance, including Exmouth Market. Transit was also good. The flat is fairly close to Russell Square tube, but we mostly used the bus. Three buses stop just around the corner from the flat, with quick access to St. Pancras for Eurostar, to the City of London, and to other transit connections. Lucy and Anna (who handled check-out) were easy to reach and very responsive on the few occasions we needed something. I would happily stay here again. In fact, if the flat is available on my next trip to London, I probably wouldn't bother looking anywhere else.

  • I stayed at Lucy's for a week. Regarding the apartment:
Perfect and safe location within walking distance to Russell Square Station, SOAS, and British Museum. But even the Thames River can be reached by an easy 20-30 min walk.
The apartment is clean and has everything one needs for a short or even prolonged stay, including washer and dryer, reliable high-speed internet and TV (including Netflix).
    I would definitely return!
