The space
The house is located at a stone throw from Karlovo town with an amazing mountain view. The house is fully off grid with its own solar power supply and spring fed cold water supply. There is a fire stove and underfloor heating for the winter visitors. There are two en-suite double bedrooms and two attics with double mattresses and the capacity is for eight people. The house is built with stone and wood which provides a fabulous natural feeling.
There is a small mountain river near the house.
We always advise our visitors to bring their own bottled water.
We can offer you a home made sourdough bread made with specially selected ingredients.

The house is located 1 km (dirt road) from the town of Karlovo - nestled at the foot of the mountain. The house is surrounded by nature and beautiful views in every direction. A wonderful place for families and people looking for tranquility, fresh air and the scent of nature.
In the Karlovo region you can see the house - museum of Vasil Levski in the town of Karlovo, the waterfall, the house - museum of Ivan Vazov in the town of Sopot, the cable car and "Skynomad" place for paragliding also in the town of Sopot. Not far away are the mineral springs of the town of Banya and the town of Hisarya.
The house is completely autonomous and passive with its own solar power and spring water, built entirely of stone and wood, which contributes to the natural feeling. There's also a very good internet connection.
The house consists of two bedrooms, each with a bathroom and toilet. Above each bedroom there is an additional separate sleeping area with a double mattress.

Other things to note
There is 1.2 km country black road to the house from the neighbourhood of Susitsa and very low or sport cars have to be driven very slow.Its only 1.2 km but some of the guests don’t like it.
Important note!!!
The piled chopped wood in front of the house is an expensive resource and is only used for the stove burner for heating in the house and not to be waisted in the outdoors fire pit.
If some of our visitors wants to use the outdoor pit for barbecues or fun , they could go to the near forest ( 3 minutes walk) and pick dry three’s branches from the ground or I could arrange a big bag with wood from the local wood merchants for a little fee of 50 lev per bag (one bag would be enough for 5-6 hours fire in the pit).
Please let me know if you require a purchase of a bag with wood and I will sort it out.
Also when you are done with the outdoor fire in the pit make sure to put down the fire and all the ashes in the pit using water due to high fire risk in the summer season.
Another important info for our visitors.
The green house is an Eco self sufficient house with own independent water supply and Solar energy for electricity which is enough to cover lighting, internet and water pumps.
Electric equipment as Electric heaters, electric grills and anything including electric heating elements IS NOT Allowed to be plugged in to the house sockets due to the harmful consequences for the Solar energy equipment.
Laptops , phone chargers are ok to be plugged in the sockets.
An Important advise to our winter visitors:
Our winter visitors have to keep an eye of the power battery level on the solar inverter inside the house. The reason is that if the weather is cloudy for 2-3 days , the battery level drops and in this case we connect a small power inverter behind the house to provide power supply to the house. It might sound complicated but it's extremely simple.
In an event of power cut to the house is really important to stop putting woods into the fire stove ,because it requires electricity for the central heating system.
People with young children are advised to keep them away from the stove as it gets very hot and also don't let little children climb up the stairs to the upper level without adult supervision.
