A beautiful, quiet,
homely retreat sitting on over 6 acres of landscaped, nature friendly paradise, within short walking distance to the Margaret River, townsite and entertainment, forest walks and rides, and 5 minutes drive to beaches and wineries.
Here you are; a short driving distance to some of the most unique coastline and wineries worldwide, walking distance to forest trails, the beautiful Margaret River, and to town for shopping, dining and music entertainment at the 3 local hotels.
But if you are seeking 'time-out', then this is the place to lay about to the sound of bird song and the view of kangaroos grazing in your back yard.
The winter creek leads to a private peppermint tree 'fairyland' and continues to join a beautiful section of the Margaret River.
Star-gazing the huge sky-scape and full moon walks are also highlights.

Mike and I are available to help with information about the town, events, facilities and to provide anything you may have forgotten if we can. We live in a studio apartment 30 metres away from the main house.
The sense of space and quiet while so close to town is the magic of our place.
There are no local buses. Transport is by walking, bikes or by car.
Other Things to Note
The extra guest cost will not apply to children under 10. This will be refunded during your stay.
It is a great family holiday house with many adventure places for children, wonderful walks and interesting areas both on the property and also beyond.
Please leave the house as you find it.
Our water is rainwater, so be sensitive to not overusing it, particularly during summer months.
We would like smokers to use the verandahs and be sure to extinguish flames in summer.
Fantastic house in a great location for exploring the region. Had a relaxing few days here with three generations of our family. Grandparents and our daughter loved hide and seek in the garden with the kangaroos, we loved the local walks and proximity to Margaret River town. We all enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and catching up.
Mike and Suzie were welcoming but unobtrusive hosts and responded to all communication before our stay promptly and clearly. The house was clean, tidy, very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
It's a pity we just stayed one night. The house is so warm n lovely, just like shown on the photos. Location is near the town, but quiet n evergreen. The experience of showering is so unforgettable. Thx to Mike for being so friendly n humorous.
You could not get a more authentic experience of Margret River than this! Beautiful accommodation and friendly hosts. Just a short walk from town. Kangaroos in the back yard. We loved it!
Mike and Suzie were great hosts as well as its place. It was a great place to have a relax and out of the crowd. One activity we did was enjoying the kangaroos and parrots. There was a baby kangaroo in the pocket but the funny thing was that the leg came out from pocket instead of the head. Anyway, we were able to take 3 pictures that the baby kangaroo came out with its head and legs!!
Highly recommended for honeymoon couple.
Mike and Suzie are wonderful hosts. We found the place without much difficulties and house is ready for us. The place is exactly as per photos and the outdoor toilet/bathroom adds an interesting point to our trip. Clean and spacious house with cozy living room. My son enjoyed the company of wild kangaroos and feeding the parrots right outside the backyard. We don't even need to go for any kangaroo safari tour!
We were warmly greeted by Mike the second we walked in the door and the same kind of hospitality continued throughout our stay.
Suzie and Mike's house are situated just outside the main town of Margaret River which gives you the best of both world, completely carm surroundings and a town with cafes and life.
The house has a lovely warm energy and helped you recharge your batteries. We especially enjoyed experiencing the outside shower and toilet that brought the experience of nature into the house.
Thank you Suzie and Mike for sharing your house with us. It was a pleasure!
Thank you Mike and Suzie for being wonderful hosts and the place was absolutely stunning! Our trip could not have been more perfect! could have been better if we stayed another night, definitely another time!
I live with my long-time partner Mike on some beautiful Margaret River land.
We play a range of musical instruments and I teach music at one of the local schools.
