Overall Guest Satisfaction
Check In
  • Harbour view was great. Location excellent, in hear of Wan Chai, very near to MTR and supermarket. Tiny but efficient apartment, has all usual amenities.
Uncle C was helpful and responsive, he bought a microwave on our request. Very convenient to move around, location wise I will give 10/10.
Just one thing, aircon duct seems very old & dirty and need some cleaning.
Overall a pleasant stay, will stay in Uncle C apartment when visit Hong Kong again.

  • excellent location. the apartment was neat and tidy, small but as expected (this is Hong Kong living!). I felt secured and safe in the building. overall reasonably comfortable accommodation.

  • great location in Wan Chai minutes from MTR, bus and tram, loads of places to eat out. The view from the flat was stunning. The flat was comfortable and very clean and quite. It was the Ruby 7's weekend while we were there and the road was quite at night when all the bars and the main road were overflowing with people.
A great base to explore Hong Kong From

  • our first trip to hong kong and would use airbnb again. the apartment is in a good location, easy to get about (busses easier with little kids). the apartment is small, in the kitchen we expected a microwave and toaster, which wasnt there, though having washing machine helpful. the only toilet is off one of the bedrooms, which means middle of the night toilet trips were abit annoying. Uncle C friendly and helpful

  • The apartment is not big, but you can use practically everything.
To be close to subway station, close to the market and they've got a lot of restaurants.
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is also very close.
Also, the night view of the apartment is very nice.
Next time you go to Hong Kong, was good enough to want to use again.
And the host of Mr. Cheng is a kind, a very dandy.

  • My family, (me, wife + 3 young kids) stayed for 5 nights. The location suited our purpose at the time but, compact, bijoux, etc., are all good words to use to describe the apartment. We were going a bit stir crazy by the time we left. - but that's Hong Kong. Not really a place to chill out - too small and only local TV available - which is crap. However free Wi-Fi is available and easy to access.
If sharing, it's probably better suited to a younger set of ''good" friends who like to go out. Great location right in the middle of Wanchai, Clubs, pubs & restaurants of every hue and variety within easy distance.
Not sure that I'd describe the harbor view as "stunning",- but you can see it.
"Uncle C" is a nice guy, easy to talk to and very helpful.

  • Uncle Cheng was prompt in his reply and his email is informative to how to get to his apartment. My family enjoyed the stay at his apartment. It was clean and well maintained. There were towels and additional pillows provided. The location is great too. I will certain return to book his apartment in my next visit.

  • This location was perfect for us centrally located in Wan Chai.
All amanitas were available and Uncle C made everything super easy. I needed flexibility during check in and out and Uncle C made sure we were accommodated. If you are looking for a 5 star Hotel and Lobby, you will not enjoy HK apartments. But if you need a place to stay with comfort and ease, this apartment is perfect!

  • Uncle C's 2-bedroom Wanchai apartment was well-suited for my business colleague and myself, coming from two separate countries for a 3-day joint work session. The apartment is clean and uncluttered, the Wi-Fi was steady and fast, and everything was quite clean (I met the cleaning person on the way in, and she was thorough, even mopping the floors in between guests).
Uncle C was out of town so I didn't meet him. But all his communications were prompt and his instructions precise regarding how to access the apartment and so on.
True to the photo, the good view of the harbor (between two other taller buildings) gives a sense of space that is fairly rare in hi-rise Hong Kong. The proximity to Harbor Road offices and to the Wan Chai subway station are strong plusses for anyone needing to do business in HK or get around generally.
All in all, a good experience. Thumbs up from this independent business traveler!
