Great 1 Bedroom Downtown Toronto

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Mutual St, Toronto, ON, Canada

A fully furnished, compact and stylish one bedroom apartment. My partner and I are living in the condo full time as of May 1, 2014. However we are still accepting occasional weekend and weekly rentals. Opportunities for house swaps are encouraged.

The Space

Private one bedroom apartment available for weekly and weekend rentals. Access to building amenities, gym, sauna and laundry included. Close to subway and all attractions. Recently re-opened Maple Leaf Gardens shopping centre is around the corner. Wifi Internet, phone line and cable also included. Perfect for individuals, couples, or business travelers. Great north facing views, floor to ceiling windows and private balcony. The Church and Wellseley village is in the heart of downtown Toronto, great neighborhood feel, night life and shopping within walking distance. Also close to Allen Gardens, Don River and ravine, great for cross country skiing, snow shoeing or leisure walks.

Guest Access

Guests will be able to take full advantage of 24 hour concierge, private access to the building as well as all amenities. Guests should feel free to utilize any items in the apartment that are accessible and pertain to their stay, including food, linens, cleaning supplies etc. As we are now residing at the unit we do have some personal items which we ask that you not use, clothing, athletic equipment etc.

Interaction with Guests

Guests should be aware that while this is a private rental my partner and I do live at the condo full time. We aim to provide a clean, comfortable and relaxing environment with plenty of closet space and minimal clutter. But we anticipate and appreciate guest understanding that is is a home not a hotel. During your stay the unit will be entirely yours and we will only stop by if you need us or if there is an emergency. The guest book which is supplied to all renters has plenty of information about the unit and the neighborhood, and we are always available via email or telephone.

The Neighborhood

Everything is at your fingertips in the Church and Wellseley Village, great shopping, attractions and residential amenities. This area is very open and friendly with a diverse group of residents. Guests to the area should be aware that discrimination will not be tolerated by the locals and should be respectful of diverse peoples during their stay.

Getting around

Steps away from the College subway station, as well as the College Streetcar. Many attractions are within walking distance. This area of Toronto is largely flat and the City is quite compact. Exploring from the condo is simple and convenient.

  • It was our first time using Airbnb and what a fantastic first experience it was! Getting into the apartment was easy and the location is fantastic and very central. A massive, incredible Loblaws is 5mins away, as well as many restaurants and bars. We had a small issue upon arrival but it was resolved within a few hours and the host was very friendly, helpful, and prompt in assisting us when needed. The apartment was warm (which was fantastic because it was the coldest i’ve ever been in my life outside! being in the apartment was heavenly on those days. Toronto winters are rough!) and the view was incredible. Would love to stay in Liza’s place again.

  • I've rented Liza's apartment so my family could have a place to stay when they came to visit me from France.
The apartment was exactly as described, clean and very well located.
It was very easy to communicate with Liza and she even let me see the place before my familly arrived.
I would rent her place again anytime
    Thanks Liza!

  • I stayed in Liza's unit for a month. During that month I felt I'm home. A wonderful place, clean, very good location, close to everything you need including subway station and street cars. Liza is a very nice person, polite and responded to my questions in few minutes with helpful answers. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Toronto.

  • Liza was an excellent host. I love her apartment! It is an urban oasis right in the heart of Toronto. With a superb view of the city, walking distance to everything (restaurants, shops, cafes, metro), peaceful calm for sleeping, and charming decor, this is the perfect city getaway. Everything worked out smoothly for my stay, from arrival through to departure. And I appreciated the personal touch, right down to the hand-written welcome note.

  • I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to others. Perhaps it is a case of you get what you pay for. I would ask many more questions before doing this kind of rental again.

  • Me and my partner had a great stay at Liza's apartment and were impressed with the building and the area. It's in a very modern block which is close to the subway station (College) and also Loblaws - the most amazing grocery store I've ever been in (the choice was unbelievable). We made use of the modern gym as well as the wifi of the apartment which came in very handy. I'd recommend Liza's apartment to anyone, it was fantastic and if I went to Toronto, I'd be honoured to stay there again

  • The apartment was great, and the location excellent too.
If you are staying for a longer period, it is nice and close to one of Toronto's nicest grocery stores.

  • The apartment is amazing! It's way bigger than it looks in the pictures and really well decorated. The view from the balcony is awesome. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to stay downtown. Liza was very helpful throughout our stay. Myself and my girlfriend stayed for a month and a half and would have stayed longer had Liza not needed to move back in. Highly recommend the place.

  • Liza's place was perfect for our 10-day stay in Toronto for TIFF! We went everywhere on foot or public transportation - when we got in the taxi to go to the airport for our flight home, I realized we hadn't been in a car the whole trip! Excellent wifi connection made it possible for me to keep in touch with my students in online courses, and even record and post lectures.
