Please read ALL details. Welcome to my homestay--you've found a gem! 2.5 blocks to the popular South Slope + 2 more to downtown + close to nature trails. Gorgeous organic gardens. Peaceful boho vibes. This SINGLE-occupancy room is for 1 person ONLY. It's small with a single bed, many windows, a dresser, lamp, fan....NO A/C or TV. Bathroom & kitchen are shared. Everything under 'Neighborhood' is an easy walk. Nearby baseball games can be noisy--bring earplugs. Read all details below. Thank you!

The space
***PLEASE NOTE: We live in one of the most bio-diverse temperate rainforests on the planet, ie: this area is teeming with life....including insect life. While our home is cleaned & vacuumed weekly, if you prefer 100% air-tight hotel environments, please do *not* book with us. We enjoy our old-home charm, open air living, the sounds of nature....and don't mind the occasional moth or daddy long leg. If this sounds good, please come enjoy. We'd love to have you! Otherwise, please find one of the many hotels that have taken over our town. Either way, we hope you have a lovely visit!***

BEAUTIFUL URBAN OASIS: My home is a clean, peaceful & inviting place to be. Bohemian design. Lots of altars, low seating, clay paint. Nature merges inside & out. Sounds of frogs at night. Open air windows & fans fill our home with fresh mountain air & keeps things cool in the evenings.

LOCATION IS EVERYTHING! 2.5 blocks to the popular South Slope. 5 blocks to downtown + the food co-op + organic, open-air restaurants. 5 minutes to the Biltmore Estate. 8 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

YOUR ROOM: Small & cozy with LOTS of windows & light. Simply furnished with a 1-person raised single bed. Bedding & towels are included. Window fan vs. AC to cool things off—our guests say they are comfortable here.

I HEART: Nature & natural ways of living, food as medicine, dance, kindness. Guests who are tidy & clean up after themselves are appreciated always! We are smoke-free, minimal drinking & clean living. BLM & queer-friendly always.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a great time in Asheville! Warmly, V

Greetings humans! I’m as in love with these gorgeous old mountains as I was when I first arrived 25 years ago. I cherish living in this sweet sanctuary & the amazing team of women here. I’m into the intelligence of nature, food as medicine, all things wild n' free & liberation work. I keep a clean house & go by V, my birth-given middle name. YOU > I enjoy hosting all kinds of folks from around the world—just no more drunken beer tourists, please!
