Take in the total Boston experience with this unique and beautiful c.1850's Queen Anne Victorian, situated in the middle of fantastic Union Sq. Enjoy the panoramic views of Boston from nearby Prospect Hill - where the first true American Flag proudly flew in 1776.
Less than a mile to Harvard Sq and MIT, public transportation is directly across the street. Independently owned cafes, a comic book store, record shop, pubs/live music/restaurants galore, yoga studios, gourmet/ethnic markets, grocery store, public library, laundry, Union Sq. Farmer's Market - all just steps away and only minutes from Downtown and The North End.
At The Dollhouse, you are welcomed to sit downstairs, plug your ipod into the Bose music system and enjoy the lovely and unique "pocket" front porch, as you're surrounded by Historic "Doctor's Row" scenery. Upstairs, walk out to the glorious private deck in the back, where you're invited to check out the views of The Pru and downtown Boston. Put your feet up and take advantage of the free high speed internet under the sun umbrella. Or, feel free to borrow the bike and hop on the Minute Man Bike Path. You can even dress in dandy period garb and follow the midnight ride of Paul Revere....no worries....it's like Vegas - I won't tell anyone.
This ridiculously charming apartment has all the original Victorian woodwork, moldings and stained glass throughout. The bathroom is bright, airy, and delightfully detailed with an original faux fireplace. The kitchen is clean and complete with all the appliances and stuff you need. Upon arrival, you can just drop your bags and make yourself at home while you soak-in your 'wickid-ahhsome' Bostonian surroundings.

We were attracted to the quirky looking house, family with one child staying. Elizabeth provided us with great suggestion for where to visit following out visit to Boston, which was just what we needed - thank you.
The room has a great balcony outside, so staying in the warmer part of the year would have been a lot better. It was cold outside while we stayed, so we were in our room all the time while there, the lounge room didn't feel like somewhere you'd hang out, it felt more like part of the hallway. Smaller and darker than it appears in the photos.
A great place to stay. Nicely decorated room with a comfy bed and a beautiful view from the balcony
Elizabeth's apartment is lovely and the room is spacious. The location is very convenient to buses and restaurants. Perfect for me. She was very quick to meet my every need.
Elizabeth was very welcoming and accessible. She provided a lovely space that met all of my needs. The bed was very comfortable. A very attentive and pleasant host. Thanks so much!
I work as a Chauffeur and Bostonian tour guide. I've driven lots of famous people and they're usually not as interesting as a stretch limo full of 11 year old girls.
The activities I enjoy the most are Pilates, hiking/glamping, body surfing, clam digging, traveling, reading, art/music and just hanging out with my friends and family.
I have a collection of dictionaries and I love vintage purses, old movies and dark comedy
