Elizabeth was easy to communicate with before and during our stay.
Room was clean and made for a very comfortable visit, felt like private accommodation and never had to wait for the bathroom. Conveniently located near bus routes.
I was very pleased and felt extremely comfortable staying at the Dollhouse! Not only well situated and quiet, parking was never an issue. The price was reasonable and I was happy to have a morning cup of tea and prepare a lunch each day before going to work. I look forward to enjoying the location at a warmer time of year since the apartment has two decks! Elizabeth even had a welcome tray out with goodies and a flashlight.
I must say... Elizabeth was not only Great... but was a friend to us. Answered all our questions and even helped us with our itinerary. Gave us direction around the area and even to other states. Very knowledgeable of the area. Love her place, We rented a car and always found parking. We walked to Harvard Square(train station is there) and Union Square. All from her house. In truth is a great place to stay. and you couldn't ask for a better host. Go ahead and book it. You won't be disappointed.
We stayed in Elizabeth's B&B over the new year. The host was extremely responsive in-spite of the fact that she was out of town. Took care of all our requests and was kind enough to arrange for a visitors parking permit. The house was conveniently located with a wide range of restaurants and pubs. Would certainly stay here on our next trip.
The location was convenient and her house was just as it was described - quaint, neatly charming, and a comfort to come back to after a long day walking the streets of Boston. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the patio area (which had an amazing view)… And Elizabeth was an absolute delight to stay with! She is kind, understanding and a wonderful hostess - the tray of goodies she left in the room was a very sweet gesture, especially on really chilly nights when I just needed a hot cup of tea to warm up :) Also, I enjoyed chatting with her over drinks on my last night in Boston. Would definitely stay here again if/when I come back!
Elizabeth Rose communicated all details timely and clearly. Great central location (Try the Neighborhood Restaurant for breakfast across the street or the Indian Barbecue next door). The flat is up 3 flights but we can all use a little exercise. The bedroom is very quiet and the bathroom is large and convenient. Elizabeth left tea, snacks and oatmeal for us and made us feel quite at home. Roof deck is right off the bedroom which would be a fabulous summertime cocktail area.
Harvard's Dollhouse was a great little place to come back to after a day in the city. Elizabeth was a great host and made sure I had all of what I needed while I was there. Union Square is a cute neighborhood and can provide you with plenty to do. MIT is a short walk from her apartment and transit is easy to navigate from the Dollhouse. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!
Elizabeth is a lovely host and the house is nice too. She provided everything what I needed like a towel, an iron etc... above she was a nice easy going person to talk to.
Elizabeth is a great hostess & was able to give us loads of great advice. We had a ball! Love Boston!
This house is the prettiest old lady in Boston, even the taxi drivers recognised her! Elizabeth was great company and made me feel completely at home, before disappearing and leaving me to relax and enjoy the city.
The location is perfect, Union square is on the doorstep, you can get an amazing breakfast by turning right and walking thirty steps to the neighbourhood restaurant and Cambridge is within walking distance.
The apartment itself is so sweet and really comfortable with lots of vintage touches. EVERYTHING I needed was to hand and my host bought me M&Ms - perfect.
