Twin Peaks is located just up the hill from 3 of San Francisco's most popular neighborhoods the Mission, Castro, and Haight-Ashbury. It's great for those traveling with a car, as there is a dedicated parking spot. No parking tickets!
Navigate the city or even the greater Bay Area with ease and style in a 2013 Mini Cooper or 2014 Smart car! Both cars are great on gas milage, space efficient and even has it's own parking spot. Use a car to take a day trip to Santa Cruz, go hiking in Muir Woods, or even lay out at Stinson beach!
Car rental is not included in apartment rental. Car rental is done through a community car sharing site for an additional $8/hr or $60 a day for the Mini Cooper or $6/hr or $50 a day for the smart car (plus insurance). Must be 19 years or older to rent vehicle with valid US driver's license or international driver's permit.
If you have an Apple or Andriod phone, I have free ride vouchers from local ride sharing services Lyft and Uber for door to door rides for free!
There is a Muni line just down the street which can get you to the Castro neighborhood and one of the main Muni station in 9 minutes. Just a 20 minute Muni ride to the Mission or Haight. Should you like walking, it's a beautiful 20-25 minute walk downhill to either neighborhood.
Upon booking, please message me through Air B&B with your preferred contact email so I can send you check in information prior to arrival.
House Rules: NO smoking in apartment and no loud music after 10pm.
Honor and Zack are on top of every detail at their twin peaks location. Even with a key mix up, I had no issues accessing their apartment at my own convenience. They were very willing to adapt to a mistake and make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible.
Nice clean hillside apartment overlooking the city with a really comfortable bed. Easy to contact the hosts. There was a mix up with the keys that was sorted out quickly, Honor gave us a partial refund for our troubles. Would stay here again.
The apartment was lovely. Exactly as advertised and the bed was so comfortable. Fabulous view!
Honor and Zack made us feel welcome from the very first contact, with prompt, friendly and informative responses to our emails and texts. We arrived at the apartment to find a complimentary bottle of wine from our hosts, as well as clear instructions on the basics, such as how to use the projection/Apple TV system, access WiFi and even use the French press coffeemaker. The place was just as described and pictured: one roomy bedroom and bathroom, and a spectacular view in Twin Peaks, which we could enjoy either on the balcony or from the comfort of the living room. The apartment was clean, equipped with plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets, and enough kitchenware to meet our needs. Basics like coffee, creamer, sugar, butter, etc. were all there--even a waffle iron with the needed ingredients. Similarly, the bathroom supplies were as complete as that of a hotel, and beyond (there was actually a curling iron). If there were any surprises, they were all good. As for the neighborhood, being familiar with the city and having a car, it was great for us. However, it should be noted that the location of the building in Twin Peaks means that there are no cafes or stores within walking distance, and the winding, hilly streets could prove a challenge for the uninitiated. That's the trade-off for the beautiful surroundings, great view and relative quiet, though! For those who have a car, nothing is more than a view minutes away, as the neighborhood is close to many other vital areas offering anything you could want or need.
Honor and Zack's lovely apartment is a wonderful place to stay in SF, as it not only provides a cozy living environment but also locates on the very beautiful and famous twin peak - only 1 minute drive to see the fabulous SF night view. We didn't have the opportunity to meet Honor and Zack in person, but felt their hospitality from the wine and foods they prepared. We really enjoyed our stay! In addition, we just love that projector so much. I strongly recommend the apt for your SF trip!
The view was amazing, we all really enjoyed our stay, we'll return certainly！

We are a young couple who met while travelling in Latin America. Honor has lived in the Bay Area for 8 years, and Zack has just moved here from Australia. We decided to plant ourselves in San Francisco because it was a city we both know and love. San Francisco has both the beauty of nature, urban excitement and great dining, which we love to share with our guests!
