We want to share with you our beautiful place. We built it little by little and we know the place we live in can be great for travelers. We have traveled and we have been hosted many times. Now that we finally have a place of our own we want to pay it back and offer this place to you. We fell in love with this city a few years ago and we want to share this with you too. Padova has so much to offer that you won't believe it when you'll leave, and perhaps you'll want to come back.
In our apartment there are three rooms available for travelers: a double room with terrace (the big terrace you see in the pictures, where we usually serve breakfast during sunny days), a double room (which has a very small terrace too) and a bedroom with two single beds.
Double room with terrace-45 €
Double room- 50 €
Single room (sleeps two people)- 39 €
We really want to make you feel at home. You'll have access to the rooms of our apartment: the bathroom, our lovely and huge terrace (which we hope you'll enjoy just like we do!) and your room,of course! We'll provide you some clean blankets and towels (you'll find our whirlpool shower very relaxing!), maps and lots of tips for visiting our beautiful city, and some company,if you want! We'll be around whenever you need. Just ask.
We don't work long hours,so we spend some time at home during the day. We'll be around if you need, but at the same time you can have your complete privacy. We're here to help you making your trip to Padova and its beautiful surroundings as nice as possible.
Our neighbourhood is one of the most suggestive in Padua, showing the lively and young atmosphere of the University district. The Palazzo Bo,where Galileo Galilei taught his students about the heliocentric theory,is just 10 minutes walking from our place. At the end of our road you'll find the Santa Sofia and San Gaetano churches, while the famous Basilica di Sant'Antonio is just 15/20 minutes walking,as well as Prato Della Valle. The lovely Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori are even closer.
Most of the historic centre of the city is not accessible by car. Our neighbourhood is completely accessible by car, though. If you come
by car, we can provide you a free parking jusr round the corner. We highly reccomend going by bike too, you can borrow a public bike just on the other side of the street. Padua by bike is amazing. If you don't like walking or going by bike, there's a bus stop just stepping out from the door. The bus will take you right to the heart of the city in a couple of minutes. If you want to visit the surroundings, Venice is 25 km from
Padova, Vicenza is 40km from the city and they're both reachable by train, bus and car. Oh,I forgot: the train station is just 15/20 minutes walking from our place! If you're lazy and you don't want to walk, a bus can take you just in front of our place from the train station as well.
We have a dog,Echo. She's very quiet and she lives with us. If you have a dog, she'll be happy to have some company. We don't smoke, but you can smoke in our terrace if you want. I don't mind of you smoke inside, but Giorgio (my boyfriend) doesn't like it that much, since he's an ex smoker. I guess the terrace will be ok :)
We'll simply ask you to leave the room as you found it!
Please remember also our check-in (after 18:00) and check-out (within 11:00) times, and if you're meaning to check in earlier than 18:00, please consider we might be working on that day, so please ask first, with a couple of days of advance. We'll be glad to help you if our working schedules allow.
One tiny rule actually is that KITCHEN IS NOT ACCESSIBLE TO GUESTS. We usually prepare breakfast, in case we won't be able to do it for you we'll surely let you prepare it yourself. As for the rest, we prefer to avoid guests cooking their meals in the kitchen. Guests staying in the single bedroom can surely have access to the terrace passing through the kitchen, but we prefer them not to use it.
We also ask to respect our sleeping times. You are allowed to come and go as you please at every time of the day and night, we simply ask to respect our sleeping times :)
And well, that's all!
Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare da loro!
Un saluto a Giulia, Giorgio e Echo!

We had an amazing time at Giulia's place! She made us feel extremely welcome and at home. There was a lovely breakfast for us in the morning and we also had a great time hanging out with Echo as well :) She was very flexible with us in coming and going, which we really appreciated! I would recommend staying here!
we loved our stay here with giulia & giorgio and of course echo their lovely dog. we where immediately made feel welcome in their home. the apartment was lovely and the breakfast on the terrace was perfect. the apartment is conveniently located 10 mins walk from the train station which we used to travel to venice. 10 out of 10 host. would love to go back one day.
Giulia and Giorgio are very warm and welcoming guests and we felt at home in their apartment right from the start. There was a bottle of water and a chocolate waiting for each of us and they were very helpful with suggestions about what to see and restaurants to try. The apartment is in a residential part of town, a bit far from the train station if walking with luggage, but it's a lovely walk from there along the waterside to get to the Scrovegni Chapel. Once we got our bearings it was quite easy to get around and we saw everything we hoped to and did it all on foot. We loved staying with them and being in an apartment, it felt much more like being at home than a hotel. Grazie Mille, Giulia and Giorgio!
Our stay in Padua was great! The apartment is walking distance to the train station (about 20 minutes) or a short bus ride. We were easily able to get to Venice and enjoy the day, then come back to the apartment at the end of our day away from the big crowds. Our host was very helpful, and did her best to give directions and suggestions to get to our desired locations. She provided water, chocolate, towels and toothpaste when we arrived (such a treat when traveling for 2 weeks living out of a backpack!).
Although we only stayed one evening, we wished we could have stayed longer. The room is very spacious and private. The bed is comfortable and easily sleeps two people. Before Guilia left for work, she set out coffee, tea, toast and cereal for us on their beautiful balcony. It was such a treat on our last day there before a long day of travel ahead of us. I would recommend staying in this apartment to any friend of family member.
Giulia and Giorgio saved us at the last minute as we needed to find a place in Padova for the last night of our trip. We came by late from the train station and they still welcomed us with a nice conversation.
The room was perfect for our short stay, and the terrace is really huge. everything was clean and the sofa bed was comfortable. The apartment is situated very centrally so we could find a place to have some food and drinks late at night.
As we were leaving to the airport very early in the morning, they prepared for us a cute breakfast before they went to sleep.
Really nice people!
We had a wonderful time in Padua and found that Giulia was very helpful in explaining the transportation system. I recommend the place if you are interested in going to Venice as well because it is only a short train ride away.

I'm Giulia, from Italy. I'm 25 years old, just graduated at the faculty of Dentistry of Padova. I am both a host and a guest, looking forward to travel the world and meet new people and different cultures. I live in Padova with my boyfriend and we enjoy sharing our place with travelers, listen to their stories and learn from their travel experiences.
I really love cooking, everytime I find some free time I try to make a cake out of it. I love reading, listening to music and gardening. Giorgio loves riding his motorbike, eating my cakes and gardening with me in our terrace.
We've been traveling together and we're still doing it, but when we're at home, we like to go to the mountains and enjoying the quiet of nature in our small cabin in the woods.
