Re-store and refresh your spirit in this sanctuary. Our exquisite upper level studio, with high quality modern interior, maple flooring, beautifully furnished, well appointed kitchen, and kiva fireplace, is set in 5.3 acres of natural beauty and stunning unobstructed views yet only 1.2m to town. Also enjoy a unique full spa experience, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna (new!) and salt water pool. Enjoy 15+ Hiking trails that can be taken right from our property edge.

The space
This is one of a handful of historic buildings in Sedona. Designed by Bob McIntyre who also architected the famous Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Center and other unique buildings in Sedona. When you look closely at the adobe brick walls, notice how they curve, a hallmark of McIntyre’s style and something that very few would replicate today.

In addition to having a very unique architecture our home has a strong and unusual lineage of owners. Originally built by Platt Cline (the Flagstaff newspaper editor after whom NAU’s Cline library was named), our home was lovingly owned by Ann Miller, a Hollywood actress in the 1940’ and then by the Wrigley family. We feel honored to be the stewards of this historic property in Sedona and while we modernize we are constantly ensuring that we continue to respect the beauty of the architecture and the legacy that the previous owners left for us.

We also have a beautiful new aromatherapy steam room, deluxe hydrotherapy hot tub designed to target specific muscle groups and a salt water swimming pool, all fully available for guests to enjoy with spacious areas for relaxing.

We also offer Healing Modalities onsite and unique Old and New World Wine Tastings:

Healing Mind, Body and Spirit

In addition to the unparalleled nature and great hiking here, one of the hallmarks of Sedona is healing and wellness of mind body and spirit. There are many amazing healers around and two right here on your doorstep.

Myofascial Release Therapy
Huib is a trained and highly experienced Myofascial Release Therapist. Myofascial Release is a hands-on modality that works deeply within the fascia system to release physical and emotional restrictions that cause tension and pain in the body. Most people do not experience an optimal life due to physical or emotional trauma, poor posture, injury, scar tissue and many other life stressing events. Myofascial Release unlocks restrictions and brings back physical and emotional alignment by going deep into the connective tissue and releasing pain and trauma at the cellular memory level. Huib charges $150 per hour, 1.5 hr sessions are recommended to experience full benefit.

Reiki
Iona is a certified Advanced Reiki Practitioner and whenever home (she travels a lot!) is happy to do 1 hour session, which includes a short guided meditation to ground and bring each client into presence . Reiki is a Japanese energy medicine technique that induces a state of deep relaxation that activates the body's natural healing powers. It is a gentle hands-on technique where the Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit conveying the universal life force energy to the client. It is based on the ancient understanding that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words, "Rei" and "ki". "Rei" means spiritual or universal and "ki" means the life force. The meanings thus becomes "The Universal Life Force Energy". Iona charges $120 for 60 minutes.

Wine Tastings
We also host wine tasting evenings in our main house on Thursdays and by request. Huib was trained as a Master of Wine and has worked in several Michelin Star restaurants as the head sommelier in Holland. He graduated, youngest in his class, from the Wine Academy in Holland and has a deep love and appreciation of fine wine.
We host a candlelit tasting in our main house and have the fireplace going in the colder months. The focus is high-end New and Old World wines accompanied by wonderful Mediterranean appetizers. It’s a fun and educational experience.

Price is $175 per person, includes a 2-3 hour tasting with 8-10 wines and wonderful appetizers.

If you are interested to learn more about either of these experiences for yourself, just let us know.

Where you’ll be

Sedona, Arizona, United States

We love the tranquility of this space with so much privacy and unobstructed views of the red rocks. We enjoy watching the sunrise and moonrise and the glow of the sunset on the rocks is out of this world. Then if we need to do some shopping or want to go out for some dinner we are only a few minutes away from town.
