Our cozy, clean & tranquil pocket studio is a perfect urban-oasis for the minimalist solo visitor and/or a close & in-sync couple. Walk to downtown, the greenway, yoga studio, restaurants, shopping, coffee, groceries, and breweries.

In the desirable, historic Montford neighborhood, 4 blocks from Asheville’s vibrant downtown, creekside greenway walking path & tree-lined streets. We invite you to experience the beauty and tranquility of the studio apartment coupled with the great location.

The space
The studio is compact and perfect for the minimalist solo traveler or a close & in-sync couple. It's about 180 square feet in a charming and updated 1926-built bungalow.

Natural light streams in through south facing windows. Original hardwood floors. Full-size/double bed (not a queen). The kitchenette is stocked with cookware for the minimalist chef - everything you need for an easy meal, but with all the amazing restaurants in town, who wants to cook?! :) The kitchenette has a hot-plate, drip coffee-maker, microwave, toaster oven, small fridge, pots & pans, and dishes.

Bath towels, bed linens, & kitchen towels are provided. Please do not take the house towels outdoors. Thanks!!

There's no TV in the studio but we have excellent high-speed internet for your personal device streaming.

SOUND: The studio shares two walls with another apartment. Just like urban living anywhere, you may hear the presence of neighbors going about their day. We ask all guests and tenants to be mindful and considerate of noise levels and quiet hours.

Parking is on the street and sometimes up to a block away. It's an old, historic neighborhood with narrow streets that large vehicles have a hard time turning around in. Best to come with your smallest car and practice your reverse skills! :P

Our property is truly a zen-like oasis in the city. And, it is a city with city noises. Most guests LOVE the tranquil setting so close to all that downtown has to offer. For light sleepers, we recommend earplugs.

By choosing to book with us you are supporting a 'mom & pop' size small "business". We are artists, gardeners and decades-long residents of Asheville. We actually live in Asheville and this was our main residence for decades before we moved to the country 20 minutes away. We're part of the original OG's that make Asheville weird and wonderful! :P Shout out to you for supporting the local economy and not corporate hotel chains! We appreciate you!
