WE OFFER COMPETITIVE MONTHLY RATES!
In addition to this room, we also have the following rooms available:
For those who don't like to share, we also offer a spacious apartment big enough for 4-5 guests:
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK: There are no lifts in this building. Guests who come with heavy or lots of luggages are respsonsible for their own handling since Nic suffers from back problems. This is one room within a shared apartment. You may end up sharing the place with 1-3 other guests, or have it completely to yourself, depending on time of year. Also, we ourselves do not live in the apartment, but a few streets away.
About this room: 1972 features an IKEA double bed. In line with Chinese practice, it is a 'firm' mattress, and the occasional Western guest finds it 'uncomfortable'. This is typical of traditional beds, which is part of the authentic experience we're trying to create.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR SINGLE NIGHT BOOKINGS THERE'LL BE A SURCHARGE OF USD$10.

It's nice experience to live here.Nic & Trig Tse are good landlords. They are really helpful before and during out stay.
My friends and I love here.
Great place right in the bustling heart of Kowloon and easily accessible to everywhere.

We had a great time at Nic& Trig's house, the location is really the best. The room was same as shown by the pictures at airbnb. I bothered Nic several times for asking location and many things. Every time he answered me right away and he made us comfortable to be there. At first day night, he introduced around place and bought great dinner. Mongkok is quiet a noisy city but the room was very quite. Thank you for everything Nic and I can't wait to see you again in HK or Korea.
I traveled to Hong Kong for several times, however, this is my first time in Airbnd.
I really recommend Nic and Trig's room. The room was like the photos. There are towels, clothier hanger (in the room) and hair dryer (shared) ..... It's so convenient for me.
Besides, the location is great. It's near the subway and bus stop; when I went out, I could take MRT to the destination; when I was back, I chose to take bus because I walked all day and felt so tired.
Nic was very welcoming and understanding, especially when we lost our way to the apartment (do make sure you find the right Metropark Mongkok Hotel). The apartment itself is in good location and truly authentic experience, though it was a bit below our expectation, have to admit that it had great character.
It's one of a kind. Unique and authentic HK style apartment. It's just so interesting that we end up taking photos on every angle of the apartment. :)
Nic is not only a good host but also a really good friend. He gave us lots of info. that we need so that we can hv an unforgettable trip in HK. Really thanks, Nic!!
Hope see you soon again. :-D
great location and apartment, conveniently near the subway, shopping center and fine food street.
the host is kind and considerate. thanks.
I love the Hong Kong aesthetic and this place just made it even better... think Blade Runner cross with Wong Kar Wai, I loved it! It was also very comfy, aircon worked, kitchen is small but functions well (no cooking though).. oh and easy to get to, super close to MTR prince edward station.
Nic was awesome no issue when i was running late at the airport and leaving late in on my last day, really easy going and friendly. Suggestions on the cork board were really helpful too, loved loved loved Kubrick!
This will be where I stay whenever I come to Hong Kong and I would definitely recommend anyone who can cope with four levels of stairs to stay here. I didn't mind the stairs just meant that you plan your day better so you don't waste so much time going in and out.. and they had their own kinda aesthetic too ;)
