I know all the best coffee shops, mural walks and bike rides nearby, and can help you plan an outing, if given some notice.

Two adorable and friendly senior cats live here, so if you have a pet, you'll have a chance for some love while on the road (I know I really appreciate this). I do keep the cats out of your room, but if you have allergies this is probably not the best choice.

This is on the sun belt and often escapes the famous fog, but we can watch it float by quite well here. Twin Peaks and Bernal hills view on both sides.

  • Shani was a great host - helpful, friendly, happy to chat but not intrusive. As a newbie to San Francisco and travelling alone, Shani seemed glad to give me tips on places to go and how to get there. It was fun getting to know her, and her lovely apartment quickly started to feel like home, though I was only there for four nights. Great area to stay in too - quiet and safe, but close enough to the mission and only a block or two away from a number of great places to eat. Would happily recommend to a friend!
