Staying with Nkwa Foundation is an absolute must if you visit Cape Coast. The house is large and airy and the rooms are immaculate. The Nkwa staff were extremely hospitable and generous, going out of their way to make my stay memorable and enjoyable - from having delicious home-cooked vegetarian Ghanaian meals specially prepared, to arranging visits to the castle and Kakum national park, teaching me Fante words and the proper Ghanaian handshake, and answering all my questions about Ghanaian politics, culture, history, and fashion. I learned so much in just a few days. Thank you again to Ramzy, Iman, Lison, Elmer, Justine, Jonah, and all the Nkwa staff for an unforgettable experience!
