The home is great, just be aware if you stay in the main house you are staying in the families bedrooms, which feels a little awkward.

This is a very special place. There is a beautiful porch upstairs to retreat to for prayer or meditation. The house has all of that old world charm that you would expect. There are beautiful sculptures throughout the property. I also ate way too many of the best biscuits…

Who buys an abandoned 1850s former folk art museum and turns it into a bnb, an event destination, a petting zoo and reopens the folk art museum! We thought "Why Not?" and it is a season of adventure that is for sure. Who knows? Maybe a documentary on it will be next!
