Bohemian glamping in Bastrop County where we recently set up an 8' Cowboy Soaking Tub behind a wall of plants with lots of shade!
The ArtV is fenced in for extra privacy with a bench, fire ring, hammock, cafe table & chairs & Weber grill in the cozy, shady yard.
Now featuring Starlink Internet, a 50 amp electric car charger and a Tushy bidet. Quiet, wooded, rural setting near Bastrop, Elgin, Smithville, the Colorado River, a distillery, dining, a wine bar, 2 State Parks & a winery in McDade!

The space
The ArtV has sustainable bamboo hardwoods, carpet in bedroom and repurposed marble flooring in bathroom. Runs exclusive on all electric power, and the well water is double filtered & run through a water softener as well.
A tank-less water heater keeps the hot water coming! The bedroom has a double Futon innerspring mattress, goose feather comforter, mood lighting & carpeting. Kitchen features granite workspace and backsplash along with toaster oven, microwave & double burner stove top. Also equipped with generous under counter lighting, coffee maker, dorm size 'frige, food chopper and lots of other kitchen basics. Morning set up provided with coffee, sugar and a variety of teas.
No people food for dogs please, there is a jar of doggie snacks in the pantry!

This is a very private neighborhood, dead end road off of a dead end road. There are cows across our road on the next property to remind you that you are out in the country!

We love to use Airbnb when we travel and thought how fun it would be to rent out our guest space! I'm happy, if I'm available, to meet guest initially to do a quick walk through. There is a LOCKBOX ON THE FENCE for ArtV key and arrangements can be made in advance for self check in.
Guests can reach me via text or phone call, I’ll do my best to answer questions & help with whatever may arise. Our close by neighbor Craig, is available to help if we are not.
