Eclectic mini apartment in the hearth of Rome, in the wonderful Trastevere district. It has an indipendent entrance on the street, typical of this ancient area of Rome.
In the living/bedroom you find a real double king size bed and the living, with a double sofa bed and the dining area. A bathroom and a separed well equipped kitchen complete this funny apartment,
Trastevere is a very particular district of the historical center of Rome: quiet as a country village during the day, hot spot for soft movida in the evening, with its large choice of restaurant, bar, artistic shops, trattoria.
On the same side on the river, you get Vatican and San Pietro in 15 minute walking of few #23 bus stop.
Crossing the river, you get all the rest of Rome, at walking distance.
Just in the block you will find all what you need: grocery, bakery, bar, pharmacy, restaurant, supermarket and a fresh open market . It's perfect for traveller that wants to stay feeling as a real roman, inside the roman "movida", so not too much sensible to some noise by the street.
Bed lined and towels are provided (1 big + 1 medium towel /each person/ every 5 days)
Very close to John Cabot University.
Children under 3 years are welcome ( free stay)
Nice apartment in a dynamic location. Everything was easy, Davide is an extra-reactive host!
The place is quite noisy but it was written in the description. Ideal for closed friends to enjoy the city, walking distance of all points of interest of this amazing city !
Grazie Davide !
Place in great location. The apartment was a little bite small, TV didn't work and the there was not hot water until the second day someone came for solve the problem.
For me overprice!! but was Christmas and I didn't reserve in advance so they got the chance ...
Hi Carlos, I am sorry for the inconvenience at the hot water boiler; the plumber came and fixed it the morning after, that's right.
For the TV it was a temporary issue of the antemn, due to an extraordinary storm. Now fixed.
About price, years last evening (not Christmas) has the higher rate of the calder, as for every apartment, that's usual. So, I would like to assure you that "I didn't get any chance", but price was decrease in the last days (as every host use to do) and minimum stay reduced from 4 to 2 nights :)
Trastevere Wonderland is ideally situated in one of the nicest and liveliest areas in Rome. Davide was a great host and the organisation went really smoothly. The place is a bit dark (ground floor, only two windows) but we basically only came to the apartment to sleep anyway.
We were a young couple staying in Rome for 4 nights and this apartment was ideal for us - perfectly located, a walking distance to the old city, amazing restaurants and bars just outside the door, clean and neatly arranged. Everything was smooth and comfy with the host. Only remark - if you live outside a city and not used to street noise maybe this is not the perfect place for you as it is a ground floor in a busy nightlife quarter (not on a main street though). We come from a city and stopped noticing the outside noises quite quickly.
Bottom line - we recommend!
Davide was a great host. From check in to arranging for our ride to the airport, The flat was exactly what we were looking for in an amazing neighbourhood. Be warned, Trastevere is a busy, noisy place. Loved it. Can't thank you enough Davide.
Very well located, but the flat is too small and dark. I think for two people could be more comfortable. Sebastian was very friendly and a nice host. The cleaning actually could be better. Thanks Davide! (whom I never met)
Davide's apartment in Trastervere was in an excellent location but had some drawbacks. The bathroom door was falling off its hinges and the water heater emptied very quickly, and the shower overran onto the bathroom and into the living room often.
That being said, it was a nice place in good condition, walkable to everything tourists would like to do, with food and bars all around the apartment. I'd stay again, but recommend only two or three people at a time!
Hi Anthony, thanks for your feedback! That's true, the apartment is ideally for 2/3 people, but I propose it for 4 people also because in this case it became cheaper like an hostel room (around 25e/night/person), and I think this can be appreciate by many.
I am sorry I was not notified about the door and water discharge problem. We've already fixed them easily, for the water especially (needed some acid only).
I hope to have you again as guests!
Davide told me a couple of days after booking that he accidentally double booked this apartment but upgraded us to the 'Country Trastevere' which is a different apartment of his, but very near by. It was a fabulous apartment for the 3 of us. I traveled with 2 other girlfriends. One of us slept on the pull out couch and she found it beyond comfortable. It was funny how much she loved her pull-out couch bed. Davide was a great communicator and helped us whenever we had any issues or questions. His response rate was very quick! Daniella checked us in to the apartment and she was just so sweet and helpful. I would definitely stay in one of their properties again! Great location and nice and quiet neighborhood but very close to shops, restaurants, and easy walking to all central Rome sights to see!
The apartment is located in the heart of Trastevere (in my opinion the district with the best atmosphere in Rome). The room is perfect for a couple or just 3 or 4 friends. The beds are comfortable and the
the apartment is well equipped (kitchen, bathroom, tv, table and other furniture).
The only complaint I have is the size of the boiler, after a couple of minutes the boiler is empty and the warm water stops.
Further I want to give Davide compliments for his service and quick response. The two ladies who checked in with us were very helpful and kind. Next time I'll visit Rome i'm sure to book a apartment from Davide.
