This is in the South Congress area of Austin. You get your own house, with your own kitchen, bath ... fully furnished!
We're 3 blocks from S. Congress / SoCo: Homeslice Pizza, Uncommon Objects, Jo's Coffee, Continental Club, and all the great food and eclectic shopping you could ask for. Cupcakes from an airstream? Check. Best coffee in town? Check. Mexican Margaritas and BBQ? Check and check.
Our 1930's House is fully furnished in an eco-friendly way, and comes complete with super comfy, all-natural and allergen free beds, as well as a full kitchen. This house has a king bed in the bedroom and a twin in the open loft.
Stay in our house instead of a hotel, and I promise you'll stay here everytime you come back to Austin!
Rate includes all taxes and fees (unless pet fee or extra guest fee needs to be attached/ rate based on 3 guests)
Wifi, free bikes for guests on a first come/ first serve basis, pretty grounds, coin operated washer and dryer
Interaction with Guests
We do require a separate agreement form on our end to be filled out upon booking. It basically goes over the same rules listed here, and we keep it on file for security purposes.

Risk/Liability. By renting this property, you are assuming all risks and liabilities for any damage
done to person or property, agents, employees, or visitors occasioned by the present or future condition of the premises, both latent and manifest. We will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or loss of money or valuables of any kind.
Your payment is due upon booking, unless arranged in advance with the manager. Non-payment of rent is considered a cancellation and subject to cancellation policy. If using a credit card or paypal, an additional fee of 3% will be included.
The houses are in very good condition, however we do not explicitly guarantee heat/ac units, televisions, electronics, or appliances. We will absolutely do our best to make repairs as soon as possible after being notified of the problem. No refund or rate adjustment will be made for breakdowns.
Please call to report any problems immediately. (phone number hidden). Locked Out
If you become locked out of the unit, call (phone number hidden). No refund or rate adjustment will be made for locking yourself out. Even if you’ve had a few margaritas… ;-)
5. Linen Care
Linens are furnished and are not permitted to be removed from the house. Replacement of lost or damaged or stained linens will be the responsibility of renter and deducted from your security deposit or credit card on file. No linens will be exchanged during your stay.
6. Additional & Maximum Guests
The total number occupying cannot exceed four (4) people in a 1 bedroom house, six (6) people in a 2 bedroom house, or eight (8) people in a 3 bedroom house. Stated pricing is based around standard occupancy of two (2) people in a 1 bedroom house, four (4) people in a 2 bedroom house, and six (6) people in a 3 bedroom house. Additional people (excluding babies & small children 7 years old or younger) are $25/person per day.
All guests must be listed on the rental agreement. There are no exceptions.
Our houses are non-smoking. Evidence of smoking in the houses will cause forfeiture of the entire payment, immediate eviction, and cleaning/abatement charges. If smoking outside, please place butts in provided sand buckets. Thanks!
We are friendly to certain pets, but no pets are allowed in the houses or on the premises unless arranged in advance with the appropriate deposit and payments in place. Registered pets must be potty-trained. An unregistered pet, or evidence of an unregistered pet, will cause forfeiture of the entire payment including deposit and immediate eviction. Pet charge is $10/day unless notified otherwise.
This is a family-oriented property. No house parties are allowed. Violation of this rule will cause forfeiture of the entire rent, including an additional fee equal to 1 days rent, and immediate tenant eviction.
10. Age Minimums
Generally, we do not rent to groups of young people under the age of 25. No sororities, fraternities, school, or civic groups are allowed.
11. Property Care
We reserve the right to keep deposits and/or rental payment, refuse a rental, apply charges, and discontinue occupancy if the terms of agreement are not met or if (in our judgment) your occupancy of the unit is detrimental to the property. The property may not be used for any unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to enter the premises at any time for the purpose of inspection, repair, or management.
If you cancel or change occupancy dates on a house, prior notice must be given as follows: Daily bookings/30 day notice; Weekly Bookings/ 45 days notice; Monthly bookings 90 days notice. Failure to give proper notice will result in forfeiture of rent, unless the unit is re-booked for the same rental period. Note: With a Superbooking, or during ACL and SXSW no refunds will be given unless the house is rebooked. Fees will apply to changes and cancellations.
It’s usually pretty casual, but just so you know: A maximum of one (1) car is allowed to park in the driveway, other cars must be parked in the street unless otherwise arranged with manager. Boats, trailers, jet skis, and motor homes must be parked elsewhere unless otherwise arranged.
We must have your credit card on file as your deposit. The credit card on file will not be used provided there is no damage, the unit is left clean (dishes, cookware, etc. must be washed and placed in cabinets), trash is removed and placed in the proper outside container and all other terms of the rental agreement are met.
16. Check In/Out
Check in time is 3:00 pm or later; Check out time is 11:00 am or earlier. Please respect the check-in & check-out times. Thank you!
We loved our stay at verde camp! The unit was clean and a great size. It was so cute and the area was perfect. Walking distance to awesome restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay there again in the future.
BJ followed up very quickly and was helpful in discussing some of his other listings as well. The house was exactly as described and was located in a quiet neighborhood only a few minutes walk from South Congress. I really enjoyed my stay.
I would definitely recommend Verde Camp! We were within walking distance of South Congress and downtown. The "cloud house" had everything we needed and is even more charming than pictures (website hidden) and his staff were total professionals. I give the experience an A+.
THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH STARS TO GIVE CAMP VERDE, BJ,LELSEE AND THE STAFF . WE HAD THE BEST STAY WHILE WE WERE THERE FOR ACL, SO MUCH SO I EXTENDED MY STAY AN EXTRA WEEK AND DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE AT THE END OF THE WEEK. ALL THE BUNGALOWS ARE BEAUTIFUL , EXTREMELY HOMEY , AND SO COMFORTABLE!!! YOU FEEL SO VERY CARE OF AS YOUR TUCKED AWAY IN A PRIVATE OASIS HOWEVER YOUR CENTRALLY LOCATED NEXT TO EVERYTHING THAT IS ASWOME ABOUT AUSTIN , IT IS JUST A QUICK WALK ( OR YOU CAN BORROW A FREE COOL BIKE) TO SOUTH CONGRESS , ACL , SXSW , COOL BARS AND RESTAURANTS AND DOWNTOWN. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO AUSTIN FOR YEARS AND NEVER KNEW ABOUT THIS HIDEN JEM CAMP VERDE BUT NOW THAT I DO THERE IS NO WHERE I WOULD LOVE TO STAY BUT CAMP VERDE SO WELL DONE TO YOU ALL AND I CAN NOT WAIT TO COME BACK! I AM PRETTY WELL TRAVELED I HAVE TO STAY IS TOP 5 OF MY FAVORITE PLACES STAY HAND DOWN! IT FELT LIKE A REAL HOME AWAY FROM HOME! SO HATS OFF , WELL DONE BJ AND TEAM WELL DONE!!!!!
