This is the Sausalito you imagined. Views of Tiburon and Bay. Just park in your spot & walk. Steps to Caledonia or about 9 blocks to downtown Sausalito. Walk along docks & shops or along Caledonia & eat like locals (Sushi Ran, Kid Park, Theater)

The space

An 800 SF apartment which is perfect for 2 to 4 people. The main room has a fireplace and living room with a view of Richardson Bay. The full kitchen is newly updated with granite counters, dishwasher, microwave...
One bedroom has a king size bed with a down comforter and the other bedroom has two twin beds which can be pushed together for another couple. There is one bath with a tub/shower.

Enjoy the private outside deck which over looks the San Francisco bay.

Stroll south to town (.7 miles to center of town). Steps from the locals favorite "Caledonia Street" to dine and shop or further down Bridgeway where there is more shopping, and restaurants on the water with great city views, (about 11 blocks is the ferry). Across the street and a short walk is Schoonmaker beach where you can rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards and down the street you can rent bicycles.

1 block north to Bus Stop by 7-11 & Fred's famous breakfast. Walk north to the Sausalito Art Festival or Bay model Museum. Walk 2 blocks south to kiddie park by library. Drive South 12 minutes to San Francisco or North to nearby Mill Valley, Tiburon, Larkspur or Head up to the wine country for a day trip.

Other things to note

This is a lower level apartment in a 3 unit building on the main street of Bridgeway. No apartments surrounding it or below, just one unit above. We own the building, and the other tenants are full time. We have updated and furnished this unit knowing its location makes it a great Vacation Rental. As you can see we own other vacation rentals (all with views or near water) and have experience in these kind of rentals.

Note to Travelers: There is just over a flight of stairs to the unit from the carport.

PARKING: There is one carport parking. The carport can be tight for a SUV, but for the most part there is street parking.

Excellent little spot with easy access to fun spots in Sausalito. Keep an eye out for the drive, as it can sneak up on you, but it's really nice to be off the street. Also, super-quick uber access to the city. Nice locale.

Great location. Comfortable bed. We loved sitting on the porch in the early evening after a day of hiking. We hiked Point Reyes, Tennessee Valley beach trail and walked to downtown Sausalito to meet our daughter on the ferry. Apartment was as described. Parking in the carport was so convenient and we were able to fit our Hyundai Santa Fe rental car. We ate at Fish, LeGarage, and Avatars and highly recommend all three. We wanted to try Bar Bocce but didn't have time.

The pictures didn't really do the view justice, it was really beautiful. Stayed with my boyfriend and two friends for the weekend and took some time to explore Sausalito. Easy trip to SF and to Tiburon (we went for a wedding).

We had a great time at Sausalito, apartment was very convenient for the town and for links to the countryside as well as San Francisco. Town has lots of nice bars and restaurants and very easy to get the ferry to San Francisco if you want to visit. We got the larkspur baseball ferry to watch the Giants which was good fun - no problems with parking there. Also bought a 'go' card for our day in San Francisco as offered very good value if you want to see lots of things. took a trip to Muir woods for the day, if you get there on a weekday before 9 there is no problem getting a parking space. Definitely would recommend this place for people who don't want to be in the city but want easy access. Very clean and spacious and Sausalito is a lovely town. Janette

We are family of 5 and love Tahoe & Sausalito. We like to be able to walk to water and bike or hike in the mountains. Both Sausalito and Tahoe offer that in a snap. A morning stand up paddle and then hike or bike in the hills with great food and music nearby and then cozy up to a fire in the fireplace when back home. Enjoy horseback riding or a boat ride, all at our finger tips. Music & Art Festivals. Sausalito and/or Tahoe are the answer . Welcome to our neighborhood...our home.
