Enjoy a peaceful stay in a modern round house with panoramic views of the Black Hills and Seven Sisters Valley. Located on a quiet ranch, this suite has a queen-size bed and two twin beds in a loft, private bathroom, and an 18-foot privacy wall (no door). The space is perfect for up to 4 guests or a couple with a child (a cot is provided for children ages 4-15).

5 minutes to Mammoth Site
10 minutes to Wind Cave National Park
40 minutes to Mount Rushmore

The space
Home is located in a ranching area on a gravel road with pastured horses. It is a short drive to the town of Hot Springs, Restaurants, Evans Plunge and Cascade Falls, and centrally located for other Southern and Northern Black Hills attractions.
Host family of one. I live in a separate part of the house; therefore, guest have a private entrance and use of the living room and kitchen. Guest Bedroom has an 18-foot privacy wall partitioning it from the living room. You cross an open hallway to get to your bathroom. Guest closet contains a small refrigerator. Please see pictures. Space is comfortably suited for up to four people or couple with a child 4-15 years (A cot is provided for a child). I enjoy having guests, but am conscious of maintaining my guests' privacy.

Guest access
Guests can enjoy the kitchen, living room, and outdoor space. Separate entrance into home through quaint mudroom allows for easy access throughout your stay. The cozy loft above the kitchen allows for more space if traveling in a group. Privacy wall without door separates guest bedroom from the living room and kitchen. Privacy screen is available to close off the bedroom entrance to provide comfort.
There’s a ceiling fan, AC, and a peaceful spot to relax and watch the horses and cattle from nearby ranches.

During your stay
I respect your privacy but will be available if you need anything during your stay. I will be present during the guest's stay in a separate part of the home. Guests have access to kitchen to prepare meals and have a small refrigerator in the bedroom closet. I provide coffee and tea-making supplies, and you can contact me via text if you need assistance. I will provide my phone number as a direct contact 1-2 days before your arrival.

Other things to note
Please plan to arrive before dark, as there are no streetlights in this rural area. I’ll send written directions and my phone number ahead of time because GPS can sometimes be unreliable. Please call me if you have missed your turnoff.

Neighborhood highlights

Beautiful view of the Black Hills and the night sky. Birds ,Rabbits, chipmunks, foxes as well as Horses, cattle,chickens and other domesticated animals nearby.
Quiet- no street noise only the sounds of nature. Beautiful sounds of birds in the morning. You will drive approximately 1 & 1/2 mile on a gravel road to reach my house when you turn off of Highway 71. Hot Springs has several good restaurants near by.
