  • If you are looking for a cheap room closed to the city center, it is the right place to stay! I wasn't aware when booking it that the bathroom was shared with another guest room, but was never a problem.

  • This location was exactly what I needed for a conference weekend in Toronto. Quiet, affordable and comfortable. I wasn't aware when booking it that the bathroom was shared with another guest room, but was never a problem.

  • The bed sheets had not been changed! there were at least 6 long strands of black hair on the pillow and between the sheets. The room is standard. very much a hotel/motel and not someone's home.
very close to all downtown amenities.

  • A good option for those requiring a reasonably-priced place to stay within very easy walking distance of the city centre.

  • Very well located and Linda is a lovely host, very flexible.

  • Second stay here for a conference downtown. Convenient location, great space.

    February 2014
  • The place was great. Location is KEY! You are about an 5-8 minute walk away from Dundas Square. Overall, it was a great experience.

  • we had an amazing time in toronto. This room is definitely a budget room but completely acceptable for the price and location. The location is fantastic with direct access to downtown and two tram lines for other parts of toronto.
The bed was a bit hard and the room was definitely tiny. The bathroom is shared with one other room, but luckily for us there wasn't anyone else staying there when we were there.
In case you're curious, this feels more like shared campus housing as opposed to a room in someone's house.

For the price and the location we'd definitely stay there again.

  • Very good place to stay

  • Linda was a terrific host. Very responsive and acted very promptly on some feedback that was offered. Very convenient location and close to the downtown core. I have made several trips and will continue to do so where available. Great experience Linda!
