I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Paolo's flat which is situated in a beautiful, tree lined street in a lovely residential district - Trestevere. It was a part of Rome that I didn't know and it was a pleasure discovering and wandering around. It has very easy access into the city centre with a quick tram ride or I found a very easy and interesting walk. Also easy access to the Trastevere train station which has a direct route to Fuimicino Airport.
The apartment is spacious and quiet with garden views and plenty of light. I would definitely recommend staying if you want to visit Rome but feel like you actually live there.
Just perfect! Quiet, comfortable and clean apartment in great location. When we come back to Rome, we'll definitely be staying here again!
Exactly as described. A quiet and elegant apartment in an excellent location in Rome. Could not have asked for more and highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet close to Trastavere in Rome.....
Great position close to resturants and sights. Paolo greeted us and explained everything. Would recommend.
This is in a perfect location - right in Trastevere and really close to lovely bars and restaurants. The road itself is leafy and quiet and feels safe. We were met by a friend who was very helpful and took our bags up, which was very sweet. The only thing I would say is that the air conditioning unit was dripping and was quite noisy, so we ended up just opening the windows as it was disrupting our sleep.
We had a fantastic time staying at Paolo's place. The apartment was spacious, lovely and comfortable and the neighborhood is the perfect base for a stay in Rome - quiet street but right in the Trastevere neighborhood which is less touristy with great restaurants! Paolo himself was super accommodating and flexible - definitely a top AIrbnb host!
The apartment was exactly as advertised, quiet and elegant, and a chance to experience a wonderful neighborhood in Rome. We loved the high ceiling rooms, the large sunny windows with wooden shades, the inlaid floor and so much else. Trastevere is a delightful neighborhood - it is easy to walk into the heart of Rome, and its winding cobblestone streets become magical in the evening, with its old church, and many trattorias and wine bars. Paolo was a very gracious and helpful host. We appreciated his flexibility when our arrival hour changed and his help with arranging a car. It was a pleasure to meet him and we would love to come and stay another time! Grazie Paolo!
