  • Our first visit to Paris and we fell in love with the place. We're so glad we found Loik's apartment on Air BnB. It was a great base for our stay in Paris. Just a short walk to the Latin Quarter, the Seine and even to Notre Dame. Loik was a genial host who gave us space, which was nice. We found the apartment good value, with the location being the trump card.

  • We are frequent visitors to Paris and are so please to have discovered Loik's apartment. He is a charming host and more than helpful with any queries. The apartment is spotless and has been greatly improved by the addition of a double bed rather than a convertible sofa. I hope he noticed I watered and deadheaded his plants on the balcony!! We'll certainly be back.

  • Loik was great and communicated well, even a few days before our trip he emailed me directly to confirm everything. Since he would be on the road, he had his parents meet up with us. They were waiting for us, and graciously showed us how to work everything in the apartment. The apartment was spacious, light & bright but also had 'black-out' shades, and close to a couple restaurants, bakery, even a Starbucks for my husband's iced latte addiction. It's on the 5th floor and there was a lift. Using ear plugs was helpful since it's a little bit busy on the street below, but not that bad. Highly recommended!

  • My favorite part of Paris has always been Luxembourg Gardens and so it has been a real blessing for me that airbnb features great apartment experiences at a truly terrific price in that super area. I was immediately attracted to this special place by reading the reviews and profile of the really cool owner, Loik and mentions of just show generous and kind his mom Christine was. This made it for me an immediate choice and after 6 glorious days there my enthusiasm is even greater. A compact but totally and immaculately clean lovely large studio with tasteful design, a really comfy bed and all touches considered greets you. I had been looking forward to meeting Loik who has such a rich and colorful biography and was disappointed to hear at first he would be in England touring with his band. Happily for me though he was back in Paris for a few days and greeted me; immediately making me feel totally at ease. His English is that of a true native American as he has spent so much time in the States and he is such a delightful, down-to-earth, giving person that I immediately felt at home. When I had a few questions afterwards Christine was always there to help, even booking me a cab for my return to DeGaulle that saved me 15 euros over my arrival ride. The neighborhood is just loaded with great shops, restaurants, stores and an awesome boulangerie on the corner and is only 1 block from the most delightful park in the City and super close to two Metros and 1 RER station. The weather was just wonderfully sunny and warm during my early autumn trip and this special apartment stay added that extra irreplaceable element of even greater warmth that made this trip even more superb! Thanks so much Loik and Christine for giving so much of yourselves for me and so many others!

  • Loik's apartment was fantastic. A large, light and airy studio. We spent three nights there and we couldn't fault it. The area was lovely with lots of great eateries and the beautiful Lluxenburg gardens just down the street and with easy access to public transport etc. The checkin went smoothly with Christine (Loik's mum) letting us in and showing us the apartment and Loik keeping up very good communication. We would definitely recommend .

Born in France but left when I was 2 years old. My father was a journalist and therefore we travelled alot. I lived in London for 3 years, then in Washington D.C for 3 years, in Jerusalem for 3 years, in Fort Lauderdale for another 3 years and spent last year in Los Angeles. Now I travel alot for my job. Either as a musician or as a photographer. I also shoot videos for bands. I'm perfectly bilingual in French and English but also speak good Spanish.
