Garbatella is one of the youngest districts in Rome, it is the ideal place for a walk through the gardens surroundings the villas and the historical palaces. Here you can still breathe the atmosfere of the genuine Rome, enjoy restaurants and caffees in the neighborhood, appreciate the never-ending sanguine roman spirit, which has never lost its energy. Morover, we are only 900 meters from Garbatella Metro Station, from where you can easily reach the most popular attractions in Rome!
Are you in Rome for pleasure? Take it Easy Roma B&B is just 3 stops away from the Colosseum, where you can take a picture with the gladiators and walk through the ancient paths of the Foro Romano. Once there, you will be just few steps away from Piazza Venezia and his magnificent Altare della Patria. Keep walking in one of the most famous shopping road of the city, Via del Corso, heading down to Piazza del Popolo.
There is a lot more to see in Rome, so take the subway to Piazza di Spagna, walk towards Piazza Navona and admire the Four Rivers Fountain by Bernini. Getting tired? Stop by the Pantheon and eat one of the best ice cream in town. Filled by such a sugar dose, you will be ready to go to Fontana di Trevi, where it is a must to throw a coin into the fountain and try to get lucky. Nearby you can take the Metro back to the B&B from piazza Barberini.
Are you still up for art and wonder? Take the Metro to Ottaviano and enjoy the view of Saint Peter Basilica. Climb the stairs of the Cupola and get amazed by the masterpieces in the Vatican Museums. Walk along Lungotevere towards Castel Santangelo and its angels. Enjoy a famous Italian ‘aperitivo’ in Trastevere or a wonderful dinner in one of the restaurants in Testaccio, two districts which are popular meeting points and symbols of the city’s nightlife.
If you are tired of taking the Metro, just walk through the streets of Garbatella until you reach Via delle Sette Chiese (literally: street of the seven churches) and find yourselves in front of the San Paolo Basilica. Or you can sleep a bit longer on a Sunday morning and then take the bus 716: you will reach the colorful Porta Portese Market, a true roman experience full of noise, energy and an extreme variety of particular second-hand items.

This was my first time in Rome, my first time traveling with airbnb and I'm afraid it will not get any better. Martina and Walter are a great and warm couple! They are trying to make your stay perfect (so it is!) and I even got a little present because of the Easter holidays. Their b&b is easy to find by train and subway and only a few subway stations from culture experiences like the Pyramid, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum. The room was cosy, clean and there was a rolling shutter, so no early waking because of the light/sun. Martina and Walter will tell you everything about the city, discounts and even tips not al tourists know. And when you get "home," you just feel the hospitality. I hope I will see them again. And I hope you will visit them too.
Martina and Walter where the greatest both in their information before my trip. When i arrived Walter met me at the airport "pick up service" when my bag where lost by the airline. he waited a long while for me to fill out reports and then drove me to the center of Rome to pick up my start number for Maratona di Roma. There where å long que there but Walter waited for me. After arrival on the BNB, i met Walters wife Martina. both welcomed me to the their bob and told me quite a lot of the area i was staying in. They did my job a lot easier and i got a map with written recommendations from Walter for the things i should see. The room was very nice and the breakfast as well and every morning Martina served coffee or cappuccino with the included breakfast. This was the first time i tried the airbnb app but now i would highly recommend it. I loved my stay in Rome and i am coming back too the next years marathon. I could write a lot more but all in all Martina and her husband Walter are the greatest with their guest, and they want you to have a good time a see the sites i Roma. I went walking and discovered beautiful basilicas "churches" thats something i dared my self too do because i had the map that i got from Walter in arrival in my pocket. Take it Easy BNB stands for great personal service, nice rooms with own bathroom and a great breakfast. I highly them to everyone who wants to discover Rome.
I had a very pleasant stay, Martina and Walter are very friendly and helpful. The B&B is very nice, clean and comfortable and only few metro stops from Colosseum. The metro stop Garbatella is only few hundreds meters far away. The location is just perfect. Highly reccomended
Martina made me feel very welcome. It was my first time traveling internationally alone, and Martina helped make the experience very comfortable. She gave advice, answered my questions, and loaned me a guidebook to the city. Breakfast was good, and filling.
