Neighborhood highlights

Our Tree House is nestled in a private community perched above the Shenandoah River. The river is wide and shallow at this point and loaded with fish. When you get there you will not want to leave! So bring drinks, snacks and beach chairs. A WV fishing liscense is required for anyone over 16 years of age.

There is biking on the C & O Canal that runs along the Potomac river with parking access. This bike path is 183 miles long with scenery out of a postcard.

Hike a section of the Appalachian Trail down into historic Harper's Ferry, where you can grab lunch and a beverage. Harpers Ferry and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy both have headquarters in town. Catch an Uber back to the top of the mountain and retrieve your car.

Plenty of wineries and breweries to visit in the local area.

Lives in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia
Hi there! My wife, Heidi, and I have lived here in beautiful Harper's Ferry for 31 years. We've raised four children in this neighborhood and now enjoy our four grandchildren (and many grand-fur babies!!) when they come to visit. Over the years, we have so enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail, kayaking & swimming in the Shenandoah River, enjoyed company around a fire pit, and touring through historic Harper's Ferry that we thought it was high time we shared our mountain home with you! We have created a space for you to experience Harper's Ferry in a way that matches your interests and needs. From adventure trips & historic tours to lazy days at the river; from quiet evenings relaxing in the hot tub to a night out on the town ... it is all here. We are excited to connect you to your perfect getaway!
