About this listing
ONLY FOR NON-SMOKERS!! FREE WLAN! This is a 64 square meter Flat in a beautifully renovated house from the year 1903. All three rooms have a view of the Park. (with playground!) It has a bedroom (bed 140cm sleeps two), a living room with a pull out couch (140cm, can also sleep two if the two like each other!) and a nice kitchen and dining area. In the bathroom there is a washing machine (NO DRYER!!) and a full tub. Here is the situation: I use the place on the average two days a week, usually Monday and Tuesday. On most weekends, over the holidays, semester breaks (I am a Professor at the Music College), as well as most of the the summer, the place is empty. (I only rent the apartment when I am not there so you will have it to yourself!) I have a super kitchen with all the basics like dishwasher, oven, microwave, and espresso machine. Since I do use the place though, my stuff is also there. (bathroom stuff and some food in the fridge. (Feel free to use any ingredients I have in my cupboards if you want to cook!) If that would bother you then you should not take my place. It is not a hotel room, but a lived in apartment with (I feel) a very good vibe. I have plenty of sheets and towels and blankets. There is a basic TV and CD player as well as WLAN Internet for your use.
The flat is in Haidhausen, very near the Gasteig and the Isar, the Deutsche Museum, Ostbahnhof and lots of great restaurants and stores. The most amazing bakery in Munich (in my opinion) Obori, is just down the street. You can get fresh croissants and rolls for you breakfast every morning! A 5 Minute walk to the S Bahn which goes every few minutes to Marien Platz for example. This is a great neighborhood! My street is very quiet and peaceful despite being very central.
Any questions? Contact me! I am always really fast in answering my Emails! :-)
No smoking!! No pets. You may use my WLAN free of charge only on the condition, that you know, for any illegal downloading of Films or other illegal activities you will be held liable for this during your stay should this occur. Please turn of the heaters when you leave my place. Please do NOT use my kitchen surface for a cutting board. I have plenty of wooden cutting boards. If you use my larger wine glasses and Champagne flutes, please wash them by hand! They often get broken in the dishwasher! Also please do not put any knifes with wooden handles or any other wooden things in the dishwasher. Do not put the tea light candles without a holder anywhere, especially not on the wood floors, they leave a horrible burn mark behind! If you use the baking sheet in the oven, as a courtesy to the next guest, please do wash it afterwards. Please do your own dirty dishes! this is not part of the cleaning fee. Please just observe common sense and courtesy to the neighbors. Thanks!
About the Host, Mary
I have been living in Germany for over 30 years. Working part time in Munich as a violin Professor, I am usually only in Munich for 2 days a week. The rest of the week I am near Bonn working as a freelance violinist. This keeps me racing back and forth on the ICE trains! I love to cook so even my "2nd" kitchen is quite well equipped. I also teach Tai Chi and Tao Yoga. I am a fan of Eckhard Tolle, Greg Braden, Theo Fischer and many, many more great thinkers. As a capricorn I am very reliable. I'm good friend to many and mother of 2 creative and interesting kids. I really believe that life always helps us to develop ourselves in the most effective way (not always the most comfortable!) Everyone we meet is a teacher if we are smart enough to figure out what the lesson is!
