Interaction with Guests
We interact spontaneously. :)
We'll be happy to recommend you some nice restaurants, cafes, and interesting spots you can visit in the city and its vicinity.
It's Sophia who lives in the apartment and she will take care about your stay. I'm available online and on a mobile whenever needed.
There are a couple of small groceries and bigger supermarkets around. A local farmers' market and a flea market are also just a few minutes walk from our building.
A parking lot is freely available in front of the building. Taxi is relatively cheap in Novi Sad and from our door to the city centre it will cost you approximately 4-5 euros. A bus stop is very close to our building. By bus, you can easily and quickly reach the Master Congress Centre and the Novi Sad fair (in 5-10 minutes), the city centre (about 15 minutes), or the EXIT festival and the beaches on the river Danube (about 20 minutes).
You can also rent a city bike for 1 euro per day (with a deposit of 50 euro to the agency).
Other Things to Note
The apartment is on the 4th floor and the building has an elevator.
Pets are conditionally allowed.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
Alpar was amazing at communication. I got a little lost when i was coming in, and he responded within seconds. His mom was an amazing host. I felt really bad arriving so late, but she was really helpful and kind. Very warm and welcoming. Best hospitality i've ever experienced! Would definitely stay there again if i ever pass through!
Ive spend 3 nights during exit festival. Alpar is a great host he helped us out everything from airport to their home. His mother Sofia is very welcoming and her house is very clean. Transportation is very easy from her house. I definitely suggest them. And if they come to Turkey , they will always be welcomed.:)
The description of the place was accurate. Sophia was very nice and her sister was very nice too. They made me feel very good in their place and they were very eager to help me find the bus and get to places.
Super!!! It was a highly enjoyable experience, Sophia is a very kind, warm person and she managed to make me feel completely at home right from the beginning, offering me tea and juice and providing me with all sorts of species (from her own garden!) and other tasty details whenever I wanted to cook. Her breakfasts are the best!!! Alpar was available at all times, either via airbnb or his mum's skype, always ready to give me recommendations on what to do, info and help for solving any issue that might come up (my credit card has been bullying me, but now it's solved, in great part thanks to them!). I definitely recommend staying here and meeting them!
This stay was exactly what everyone else said: Sophia was incredibly welcoming and her breakfasts aren't to be beaten. The apartment was incredibly clean, and is located in a truly Serbian neighbourhood. On top of that, Sophia knows where to get the best burek. If you are looking for a real Serbian experience, and you are tired of the sterility and sameness of hostels, stay here!
Alpar and Sofia were the warmest and most kind hosts. They welcomed us to their apartment and treated us like family. The room was very clean, quiet, and spacious. The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood with bus stop a couple of minutes walking distance and a coffee shop right outside of the building. You can go to the city center with one bus and it will take only a few minutes. Sofia prepared a delicious breakfast and was very generous with sharing everything she had. Alpar is a wonderful young man whom I had the pleasure of having conversations with. He also treated me with his playing Accordion and some songs from Serbia and neighboring regions.I had so much fun at their place.
This was the most wonderful airbnb experience (and we had many!). Everything is perfect: the location is very good, close to many shops and an easy bus ride to the center. Sophia welcomed us and doted on us during our whole stay. The room is in perfect shape and has everything you need. The house is very clean and comfortable. We felt at home and well taken care of. As if that was not enough, we were lucky to be there when Alpar himself was there and he went above and beyond, giving us a ride from Belgrade, showing us around, taking us to his family cottage in Fruska Gora and some monasteries, and we even had the pleasure of meeting some of his lovely family members. We wish we stayed two months instead of three days and we hope to see them again!
