This is a family oriented neighborhood, a great opportunity to have a comfortable, quiet, safe home to yourselves, especially good if you're contemplating a move to the Portland area, easy access to major freeways and downtown LO and Lake.
You will have the entire home, spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a private backyard in beautiful Mountain Park, Lake Oswego, (voted one of the top 10 places to retire in the USA) 2 minutes from the major freeways and 10 minutes from downtown Portland - convenient to outdoor activities, walking trails and parks, indigenous wildlife as well as the Lake, great shops and restaurants. I will be staying nearby and available to answer questions. I have travelled in Europe and speak minimum French, Italian and Spanish.
There is a master bedroom for two with vaulted ceilings, a queen bed and private bath and a smaller bedroom with a single bed and private bath.
There's wi-fi, Apple TV, lots of CD's and DVD's, at this moment no TV. Parking is available in the driveway. You will need a car.
The entire home. I'm leaving but will be reachable and nearby.

It's safe and quiet, easy to walk and hike, 17 miles of hiking trails. It's like being outside of town but within close proximity to Portland, 10-15 minutes to downtown.
No, that's the only drawback. You need a car. Close to downtown Lake Oswego and Portland, easy to get around, three minutes to the I-5/217 Interchange.
Other Things to Note
There is wi-fi. You have access to Apple TV and Netflix as well as DVD's and CD's. There is no cable.
I inherited white carpets upstairs so please remove shoes for upper level.
Fran was very kind to open our home to us. Everything was clean and comfortable, which made us feel very welcome. The neighborhood is very quiet for a relaxing, well removed from the busyness closer to the city. Nothing but good things to say!
Our stay with Fran was lovely. She is very accommodating and welcoming. We were given the best bedroom in the house with a private bathroom. The bed sheets were wonderfully crisp and clean and the bed very comfortable. She even left for several days so we could have the house all to ourselves. Upon her return she gave us as much privacy as possible. She made herself available for any questions and guidance about Portland and its real estate market. She truly wanted us to have an enjoyable experience. The location was quiet and with easy access to Portland.
Fran's place was a great spot for my husband and six year old daughter to call home for a weekend visit to Lake Oswego and Portland. The air conditioning was appreciated during 90 degree July weather and the house was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Fran was great to communicate with, and she even left us breakfast food. Her artwork was really inspiring, especially to our daughter, who wants to be an artist. There was wifi, which made my husband happy, no cable, which we don't have at home either so did not miss it at all, however, Lucy did love watching Netflix selections on Fran's Apple TV.
We enjoyed going to the Saturday Farmer's Market in Lake Oswego and a fabulous French bakery in Lake Oswego, as per Fran's suggestion. Fran is a wonderful host and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in her house, we highly recommend it.
The reservation was canceled 13 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Lovely spacious house in quiet neighbourhood. Beautifully decorated with Fran's pictures. Air conditioned and parking in drive. Easy drive to downtown Portland and parking all day readily available. No TV - not an issue for us. We were made very welcome and Fran could not have been kinder. Well equipped kitchen, fruit and breakfast basics left for us.
