Apartment looks a lot smaller in person than in pictures. Privacy poor because the sliding wall doesn't even meet the windows so there is an open space for light to come in where really anyone in the apartment can see right into the room if they wanted to. That was not comfortavlble for us. The location as described in reviews is very convenient to many T stops and tourist attractions. I did not meet Lily as she was away for the days we were there. Her husband is not very friendly. A little standoffish which felt unwelcoming. The cleanliness of the bathroom was a big concern. He let us know that he would clean the bathroom a little later after we arrived. However the bathroom FULL garbage never was emptied the two days we stayed, and the hair on the bathroom floor remained there for our entire stay. Why were we charged a surcharge for a "cleaning fee?" This should not be allowed.
Lily and Harry are great hosts and the apt. is at a good location. It is about 15min walking to Boston south station and there are tons of Chinese restaurants under the apt.
Great location in the middle of China town with convenient traffic links to all parts of town. Great, very friendly and super helpful host. Room is clean and good, separated from the kitchen / dining room by a sliding wall.
Oh my god. The comfiest BnB I have been so far. The location is so convenient for me (right in the middle of Chinatown = Chinese food all day long). The room is so clean and comfortable. The bed is so good to sleep in after long day of exploring Boston. I didn't want to get up the next morning. I felt like I slept in the hotel room :)
wonderful (email hidden)ly is really nice.the room is very comfortable.just like home
I had slate nite arrival due to typical summer T-storm weather into Boston, but the hosts were accommodating and generous, opening up the front door to the street well after midnight for this tired traveled.
Their apartment was spotless, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. As it turned out I had to work all night on a pressing deadline so the wifi was essential and worked well. The sleeping room was large, but separated fro the dinning area by large heavy hardwood sliding doors.
I generally try to stay at fully separate apts rather than shared spaces but this experience may change my pattern a bit as the privacy to work was excellent yet the quiet occasional encounters with the hosts were cordial and very nice. The location is great for anything in the downtown section of the city. I found walking up the Hynes Center, for example, only 23 min away up Boylston. Very convenient.
Lili's apartment is very convenient, its located in chinatown just few minutes walk from the south station. good food nearby, subway station close, just the perfect spot for me. Lily n Harry are both very friendly and make me feel very welcomed. I'll surely stay at Lili's if i visit boston in the future.
