Lily was an incredibly accommodating host, coming to my office to physically deliver the keys because she was going to be out for much of the afternoon. She then happened to be back in the apartment before I arrived for the night, and rather than leaving me to figure out the keys she came downstairs to let me in. Very sweet!
The apartment is in Chinatown, steps from Downtown Crossing — really well-situated. There are some faint Chinatown smells, if you're sensitive to them, and there's lots of ambient light from the neighborhood; but the apartment is a great deal. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean and well-stocked. Not too fancy, but an excellent option.
Listing is as shown. Harry and Lily were incredible hosts. Location was the big thing about the listing. You cant beat being right in Chinatown/ Theater District. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was kept clean. 10/10
I LOVE LILY'S APARTMENT, IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND COMFORTABLE. MEANWHILE IT IS NEAR THE SUBWAY,VERY CONVENIENCE.
The room was nice, it was very clean and we had everything we needed. The apartment is as described. The location is very convenient, most of Boston's sights are in walking distance.
Lily was so nice the whole time (asked us our plans a day prior to the arrival, let us drop off our stuff in the morning, and even showed us around the house when we came in waking her up from sleep). Her room was exactly as pictured and was literally right across from tens of authentic Chinese restaurants, bakeries, and stores. Her kitchen and bathroom were superbly organized! And her linens and towels were so clean and my friend kept commenting on how comfortable the mattress was. She let us use her kitchen and dining area. I really treated her house like a hotel and had so much fun with my friend as she procevided us with so much privacy and respect. I got sick the first day I got to Boston, Lily's husband Harry even offered to go buy medicine when he found out in midnight! My first airbnb experience was awesome because of Lily and Harry!

Born and raised in Bellflower, California. Moved to Boston in May 2013 with my husband to support his dream of attending Berklee College of Music for Film Scoring. The East Coast has provided a completely different style of living for us and Airbnb has been a great way to meet all varieties of people from around the world.
