Where to start, there were several problems with this accommodation. First being that there were 4 of us staying in this flat and there were only 3 pillows. We requested a fourth pillow and the host said they would deliver it but it never came. Furthermore there are no blankets on the beds, only sheets. One of the tv's doesnt work and the beds are not both queen sized one is noticeably smaller. The "wifi" if you can even call it that RARELY worked and when it did it would crash within 20 minutes. The washing machine is also broken. The surrounding neighborhood feels more like China town than Italy and was very dirty and dodgy the closer one got to Termini Station. On the whole the location wasn't terrible but the flat itself was VERY disappointing, especially for the steep price. On the other hand, the espresso machine worked great.
The apartment was easy to find and Gian Maria was flexible about checking in. We were pleasantly surprised that it had a wide balcony with a nice view of Piazza Porta Maggiore - ideal place to have traditional Italian breakfast - cappuccino and dolce (both are always available as coffee machine and breakfast food supply are kindly provided by the host). The apartment itself is really cozy, the beds are soft and have magic blankets that move away all tiredness after long hours of sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay in Maggior Domus as well as communicating with Gian Maria who was always ready to help us both with documents for visa and showing us the best party places in Rome. And one more good thing about it is its fabulous location - it's just a 15 minutes walk from Colosseum, though the streets are not crowded by the tourists, and there are a lot of nice restaurants around, and even a big supermarket where we usually bought strawberries and wine. We'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to Gian Maria who gave us an opportunity to live in such a great place.
El piso está muy bien comunicado, y la casa es como en las fotos. Lo recomendamos para una visita rápida a Roma :)
