Our new garden suite is an easy 10 min walk to Dundarave Village and Beach; bus to downtown close by. We have a comfortable queen bed with en-suite bathroom, plus a daybed for a third guest in living room. Great place for early start to Whistler!
The space is brand new (May 2014), only 550 square feet, south facing overlooking a typical English Garden, with double doors leading onto sandstone patio. Guests have a comfortable living room with a large screen TV and electric fireplace; a kitchenette with fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker and kettle; The small bedroom has a medium hard queen mattress. The en-suite bathroom has large walk-in shower, wash basin, toilet and heated floor. Ceiling clearance throughout is 6 foot 10 inches - so if you are taller beware! Guy is 6 foot 2 inches and its just fine.
Guest access is through the patio doors at the front. Off street parking is at the front on the property.

Dundarave is a unique location between the ocean and mountains looking across Stanley Park to Vancouver City. It's an excellent stop if you are on the way to/from Whistler.c. A quiet, safe neighbourhood with a beautiful walk along the seafront to the First Narrows. Dundarave Village, with a pretty beach is a ten minute walk down the hill and has excellent shops, restaurants and perhaps the best coffee and pastries in the Province!
The frequent city bus service to downtown takes 25 minutes or less. The closest bus stop is 3 minutes walk away. The new highway to Whistler (100km) is just 3 minutes drive up the hill behind us. In the other direction from the same access is the freeway to Calgary.
