The guest room is a cosy, well-lit, and sunny room in my two bedroom two bathroom apartment in Summertown, North Oxford.
The room has a comfortable double bed, duvet and pillows with fresh bed clothes and towels provided. Storage in the room is a built in wardrobe containing a clothes rail along with two bedside lockers. There is also a large bathroom that is for guest use only with a bath, shower and some basic toiletries provided.
Breakfast is provided in the morning with a help yourself policy as the chances are I won’t be around. A selection of cereals, fruit, juice, tea and coffee will be made available.
There is free car parking on the street just outside the apartment.

The guests have access to the room and have sole use the main bathroom. You are also welcome to make use the fully fitted kitchen for preparing meals and feel free to make use of the living room if you want some space to relax in.
Interaction with Guests
I will be present when guests stay and I am happy to interact with you as much as you want me to. Also, if there is anything you need to improve your stay, do let me know.
The apartment is in a new residential development situated by the canal in Summertown. The Summertown shops are only a short 3 minute walk away where you will find a range of quality shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. There is also a leisure centre in the area that has a swimming pool, gym, squash courts amongst other facilities.
There are also a variety of local walks onto small nature reserves and Port Meadow in the nearby area.
Summertown is excellently located just 2 miles from the centre of Oxford. The easiest way into the city is by bus with the nearest stop being only a three minute walk away at the Summertown shops. The bus service runs every 5 minutes in and out of the city with the journey taking about 5 minutes.
Alternatively, if you are feeling energetic you can take a scenic walk along the canal that will bring right into the city centre in about 30 minutes.
Access to London from Oxford is also quite easy with the Oxford Tube running regular buses that will get you into central London in just over an hour at reasonable prices, single £15 or return £18. The Gloucester Green bus station in Oxford has buses that leave regularly to Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Oxford trains go directly to Paddington station in London.
No children (I have nothing against them it's just that my apartment is not really a child friendly environment)
