The Marais is one of the most ancient and picturesque parts of Paris, characterized by its unique 17-18th century buildings and elegant stores and restaurants.

For visitors who wish to explore Paris on foot, this is an excellent point from which to do so.

From your doorstep, in around 5 minutes on foot you are also at the Seine River, crossing onto the Islands to visit Notre Dame and the Ile Saint-Louis. All major attractions in the center of Paris are thus within walking distance.

If you have any interest in art, you have plenty of little galleries and workshops where you can buy exquisite gifts.

You are also at a walking distance of Place des Vosges and of all those beautiful museums: Picasso Museum, Carnavalet, Archives Nationales and so many others.

On top of everything, and it is rather rare in the center of Paris, this is a very quiet street offering still all the advantages of Paris within a walking distance.
The Apartment is on the 4nd floor and there is no elevator with a view on the national archives.

The location of this apartment was perfect! The area is quiet and calm but there are lots of great shops on this street and in the areas around it. Maeva made me feel very welcome as soon as I arrived. I arrived a bit later than expected around 11pm and I was only staying for the night but she was happy to accommodate and help me with anything I needed. Her apartment is wonderful and much bigger than I expected Paris apts to be. She gave me advice on where I could go out for nightlife and dining. She was so kind and gave me access to the bathroom, laundry room, refrigerator, cable TV and all other essentials. The room is also very spacious; huge bed and nice desk for planning out the day. The best part of the room is the window overseeing the street and the nearby museum. It was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator but it was totally fine. She did have a cat and I'm usually not a fan but she was really sweet and quiet and it felt nice to have a little animal in the house. Maeva's place was an all around happy, warm and homey place. She even allowed a later check out since my train was leaving a bit later in the day. I've stayed at a lot of Airbnb's around the world and this was one of the best. Just wish I could've stayed a little longer. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Great host! I felt almost as if we rented the whole apartment. Great when round but also quiet. Place was as described. Right in the center of Le Marais.

We had a great time staying in Maeva's apartment in Paris. The location was great for walking around the city, with the Pompidou very close by and other attractions in the area as well. The apartment itself was nice and the bed was big and comfortable. Maeva was hospitable and friendly, so overall our stay was very pleasant.

We stayed at this room for a week. It's in a nice neighborhood with tons of boutique shops, restaurants, charming narrow streets... The apartment has very big windows and is very light, with a beautiful view of Paris' roofs. It's very close to Notre-Dame and Latin Quarter, maybe a 15-20 mins walk... The train station is nearby to get you anywhere in the city. Their cat is a lot of fun and made us laugh all the time. The hosts were helpful and nice.

Margot and David made us feel very welcome and were really helpful. The apartment is in the centre of Le Marais area with fashionable shops as well as restaurants and patisseries nearby. It is a short walk to the main street (Rue de Rivoli) and is very central to the main sights (Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay etc). It was our fist time in Paris and Margot was really accommodating and kept in touch via text message. Margot and David kindly provided us some recommendations for dinner at a local restaurant, as well as suggestions for things to do. I'm not very confident with my French so the dinner recommendations really made the experience special. The cat is also quite a character and very playful. We definitely would stay again :) Thank you for the great experience!
