Our home is centrally located in San Diego in the quaint neighborhood of Point Loma Heights. 5 blocks to Sunset Cliffs and a 3 minute hop in the car to great restaurants and unique shops of Ocean Beach. 4 miles to the airport. 3 miles to Sea World, 9 miles to the San Diego Zoo, 7 miles to the Gaslamp Quarter downtown, 5 miles to Cabrillo Nat'l monument and tidepools.

We have most everything you could need. Fully stocked kitchen, gas bbq, a patio which we consider an extension of our home during most of the year...plus a hot tub for relaxing and reflecting on your day...or life! We also have an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a sandy day at the beach.
Lots of amenities for exploring the neighborhood and beaches - 2 adult bikes, 1 small kid's bike, beach chairs, kid's beach toys, boogie board, beach towels, soft coolers.

We are a little family of 3 and live in this home 11 months out of the year, but take much of the summer and Thanksgiving week off to travel ourselves!
Complete privacy and access to the entire home, patio, hot tub and off-street parking.
Interaction with Guests
Our amazing property manager lives within 1/2 mile of Point Palms and is available via text and phone at any time to take care of your needs or concerns.
Our home is in the middle of Point Loma and Ocean Beach, located on a peninsula with the Pacific Ocean on one side and the San Diego Bay on the other. We are 4 miles west of the San Diego International Airport, 3 miles to Sea World, 2 miles to the main street in Ocean Beach, 7 miles to Downtown San Diego Gaslamp Quarters and 5 blocks to Sunset Cliffs.
Our neighborhood offers a pleasant diversion from the busy, tourist-filled neighborhoods and has great beaches nearby.
Point Loma is home to:
- Cabrillo National Monument
- Old Point Loma Lighthouse
- excellent Tidepooling
- stunning Sunset Cliffs - great for sightseeing, picnics, watching gorgeous sunsets
- Kelloggs Beach - (our favorite) a neighborhood bayside beach, great for families

- Liberty Station - 28 acres of beautifully renovated Spanish Revival architecture and home to 48+ museums, galleries, creative retail
Ocean Beach is a funky little laid-back surfer beach town with a groovy vibe of vintage SoCal:
- 2 large sandy beaches for surfing and swimming
- The OB Pier (1 of the longest piers in SoCal) - take a stroll, grab a bite to eat or go fishing (license free!)
- tons of restaurants, bars
- surf shops, antique shops
RENTAL AGREEMENT - Point Palms
CONDITION OF PREMISES: This home is privately owned, non-smoking, and is rented with the owner’s furnishings. Please do not move any furniture around or remove items from the premises.
WE RENT TO NON-SMOKERS ONLY. Our home is a non-smoking property. A $350 fee will be charged if smoking occurs.
KEYS & CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Keys are available in the lockbox with check- in time of 3 PM (or later). Please return your keys back to the lock box when you check out no later than 11 AM. Unreturned key charge is $50.00. Requests for early arrival or late departure MUST BE authorized prior to arrival. This is necessary in order to verify that such will not interfere with the arrival of the next guest and so that we may make special arrangements with the cleaning personnel.
HOUSEKEEPING: The property has been cleaned and prepared prior to arrival. Fresh linens and towels are provided along with a starter supply of soaps and paper products. Additional supplies may be purchased at the nearby supermarket and are the responsibility of the Guest. There is no daily maid service included. Beach towels are available in our home.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS: A refundable damage deposit of $500.00 is required. Your
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made 60 days or more ahead of arrival will forfeit all deposits. Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will forfeit all deposits and the balance of rental paid.
OTHER CHARGES: The owner will not be held liable for any items left in the condo during the Guest’s occupancy and/or after the Guest’s departure. Please be sure to keep valuables with you at all times.
Excessive cleaning and/or damage beyond the normal wear and tear will be charged accordingly to the damages/clean-up required with fee beginning at $50 and going up to the amount required to compensate for excessive damage/clean-up.
A $350 minimum room recovery fee will be charged if smoking occurs.
LIABILITY WAIVER: The guest and each member of the guest’s party understands and agrees:
1. The use of all amenities available in this home including but not limited to hot tubs and patio are to be used at your own risk.
2. It is the guest’s responsibility for the appropriate use of all amenities.
3. A responsible adult must accompany and be present at all times when amenities such hot tubs are being used by children.
4. Hot Tubs/Spas: Hot tubs are not recommended for use by young children, pregnant women, or anyone with health conditions which may put them at risk.
I have received and read a copy of the Rental Agreement and agree to abide by its terms. I understand and agree that the property owner does not assume any liability or responsibility for injuries or damages which may occur as a result of my party’s use of the property or its amenities.
I further agree to the terms and conditions of my rental contract and will be held responsible for all charges related to my occupancy such as damages, missing inventory, smoking, and/or excessive cleaning.
