This is a simple, rustic cabin in the mountains 15 miles from Marshall. This traditional hardwood mountain cove is home to Eagle Feather Farm, a woodland-medicinal native nursery. Medicinal herb products & plants available. Peaceful, serene and quiet! The Garden cabin has an air mattress on the first floor and a loft up stairs for two. However, the Garden Cabin does not have any linens and you would need to bring sleeping bags and a camping mattress. This listing is 45 minutes from Asheville.

The space
This is a Native Botanical Sanctuary designated by the United Plant Savers as well as a licensed NC Plant Nursery. There are 28 private acres with hiking trails with access to the river. Serene, quiet and private this land has been noted in the past by visitors, guests and students. Limited parking, carpooling encouraged. Please drive slowly on Indigo Bunting Lane there are numerous cross ditches.

Guest access
You will have your own private space. There is a separate a kitchen, shower, and toilet that might be shared if the other space is occupied. Sorry, no pets are allowed. No micro wave oven only a toaster. WiFi only available on office deck. Bumpy country gravel road with cross ditches. Lots of fans but no air conditioning.

During your stay
I am sometimes on site since I work from home but do need to be off site numerous times each week. If not on site I will be available by phone.

Other things to note
Please bring towel and toiletries, plus favorite pillow. In addition to sleeping bag(s) and sleeping pad(s). One parking space per unit. Water is from spring not filtered.

An herbal farmer and have a line of products sold at the farm only. I have been a NC Ginseng Dealer and grower since 1994. Eagle Feather Farm is a United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary as well as being a licensed NC Nursery. Thus plants are available as well as products from these plants. Long time environmental steward and advocate.
