Luggage storage – if you arrive before check in time, you can leave you luggage in the apartment, go sightseeing and return to your room when it is ready.
★ The Location ★
The location is in a quiet part of downtown, though all sightseeing places are reachable by a short walk (Prague Castle 10 min, Charles Bridge 5 min, National Theatre 10 min, Petrin Tower and park 1 min, funicular 3 min, Infant Jesus of Prague 2 min).
The building is located next to Petrin Hill park. Easily accessible by public transport (tram station Hellichova is 100 meters away; 15 minutes from Main train station, 45 minutes from the airport). There is a 24/7 front desk (where you get and return the keys) and the house is monitored for security (not that it would be necessary).
★ The Room★
You will be hosted in one of two private rooms (check out the other room at http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/197336; the main differences are the terrace and size of the bed). The kitchen, toilet and bathroom are shared with the guests from the other room.
There is a queen-size double bed, a wardrobe and a small table in the room. The terrace (31 sq m = 339 sq ft) is accessible from the room and is available to you only.
The room windows are oriented into a quiet private courtyard. You can lock your room by a private key. Towels are provided.
The bathroom and toilet are separated. There is hair dryer in the bathroom.
The kitchen with full equipment (including fridge, but there is no dish washer) is available to you, given you use your own ingredients and clean up after yourselves.
Typical household equipment is available to you. This includes electricity extensions, scissors, etc.
Interaction with Guests
I'm living at my girlfriend's place now and work regular business hours. While I love meeting people from around the world, I hardly manage to meet you in person.
To make your stay as much smooth as possible I prepared a handbook – a leaflet with detailed check in and check out instructions, transportation, contacts and local tips. The handbook will be available to you after booking (I’ll send it to your e-mail).
I’m (almost) always available on the phone and reply to your messages in a timely fashion. In urgent cases the person at the front desk may help you.
Upon your arrival, you will get the keys at the front desk that operates nonstop.
It’s a perfect location to explore the city!
Prague is famous for the high quality of public transport. The location is so convenient, that you will not need to use any transport to get to the sightseeing places – all are available in walking distance. The nearest tram station is 150 m (= 165 yd) away.
To get to your room by the public transport in 40 minutes from the airport, less than 20 from the main bus terminal (Florenc) or main train station (Hlavní Nádraží).
Standard check in time is 6pm and check out time is 10am – that's when you are supposed to enter/leave the room. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage in the hall of the apartment, spend a day sightseeing and return after the check in time (similarly for check out). There is a front desk where you can pick up and return the key anytime.
Parking on street (in so called blue zones) is reserved for residents only (the car must display a permit, no short term permits are issued). As an extra service (500 CZK = 20 EUR = 30 USD per night) you can park your car by the building.
Other Things to Note
The room availability as displayed in the airbnb calendar is up-to-date and you can book immediately.
Extra services available for a fee (payable in cash upon checkout or subtracted from the deposit):
Wash machine (100 CZK = 4 EUR = 6 USD per load), includes laundry detergent. The clotheshorse and iron are available.
Parking on the street, behind the bar, monitored by security front desk (500 CZK = 20 EUR = 30 USD per night).

No smoking in the building.
Take off your shoes before entering the apartment (you can put your shoes onto the bench by the entrance door) – that’s a habit in this part of Europe.
Respect the basic and mostly unspoken rules of living together.

Prague was dreamy. Having the terrace to relax on was golden. Apartment was sparse but had all the essentials for an awesome trip.
Jaro's house was at the perfect place. We loved how helpful his little notes were all over the place. Our terrace garden room was private and beautiful. His kitchen had all d tools and v even made dinner. His house is close to d Park and everything is just spick and span neat! Lovely experience. Hope to visit his home again
This is a wonderful apartment, well maintained and modern, located on a quiet side street next to the large park under the TV tower and still central to the best attractions of Prague. The common area of kitchen and living room shared with the other bedroom was large enough to accommodate both parties quite well. The terrace is a nice oasis for relaxing.
The host is very welcoming and responsive to queries, provides good guidance on procedures and even came to our show.

Die Vorbereitung durch Jaro war sehr gut. Er stellte ein sogenanntes Guidebook mit den wichtigsten Infos zur Verfügung. Wir waren mit der Lage und dem Preis des Quartiers sehr zufrieden. Leider sind wir davon ausgegangen, die Wohnung für uns allein zu haben - habe ich in einem Mail direkt von Jaro so verstanden - und waren sehr verblüfft, als wir in die Wohnung kamen und andere Mitbewohner vorfanden. Mangels kurzfristig verfügbarer Alternativen sind wir dann doch in der Wohnung geblieben. Der Aufenthalt war - trotz sehr netter Mitbewohner - stark beeinträchtigt, was vor allem an unserer enttäuschten Erwartung lag. Die Terrasse ist so wie auf dem Photo, die Lage ist wirklich ausgezeichnet und der Preis - falls man die Wohnung für sich allein hat - in Ordnung. Liebe Grüße, Uschi.

My life dream came true with this apartment - I'd like to spend my life there with my family. However, I'm living at my girlfriend's place now and renting the rooms helps me with the mortgage payments.
I spent the year 2010 studying in USA. Currently, I work as an IT consultant for banks. I enjoy living in the city, but I must get out to nature to relax and get new energy over the weekend. I love sports, especially skiing and sailing!
