Ein wunderschön hergerichtetes Farmhaus. Very, very cozy and comfortabel.

Had a lovely time in this cottage that had every thing you'd need. View fabulous and location perfect . .. Close to town but in middle of mountains. Hosts great, and special thanks for calling my daughter to see a newly born calf. Great week .
Pauline and Dennis were lovely hosts, going out of their way to accomodate our needs and making sure we were comfortable during our stay. They were available AND respectful of our privacy. The house was gorgeous, incredibly cozy and comfortable (the huge fireplace was wonderful), and it was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed - immaculate. The surroundings were spectacular. The view from the front door was like a postcard. And Kenmare, the lovely town close to the house, is wonderful. A great farmer's market, galleries, restaurants, shops - everything we needed and more. My husband, my 2 sons and I all enjoyed our time at Pauline and Dennis' farmhouse immensely. I would love to go back!
About the Host, Pauline
Hi I'm Pauline. I am listing our cosy farmhouse cottage in beautiful Kenmare, overlooking the Caha Mountains. It is the family home of my mother in law and her parents and is over 110 years old. After refurbishing it completely, we have been renting it for nearly 12 years now from April to Oct and it is loved by all who stay. Having people stay means we can keep the house alive and keep it maintained annually. We can honestly say we have never had a bad experience with anyone in the years of renting it which is cool! Have met some great families over the years who have stayed. On arrival we lite the fire, throw a bottle of wine in the fridge and give you all the good tips to enjoy a great week in the area.
Gortnaboul is located three and a half miles from the beautiful heritage town of Kenmare. A popular walk which takes under an hour from house, popular route for hill walkers as it's part of Kerry Way
