Lucys apartment is absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't fault it - great location, comfy bed, great space, fab back garden! We loved it, and we will definitely come back! Highly recommend it.
Great flat and great location near park and close to shops, seafront and a short walk to the station. Flat was spacious and very well-presented, and John made us feel very welcome on arrival to show us around and give us keys. Would definitely book again!
Lucy and John weren't there themselves when we arrived, but their friend Jude was waiting for us to welcome us and show us around. The appartement is as lovely as presented and the building is being very well kept and clean & tidy. The flat is located in a perfect spot, with a lovely park just around the corner, the beach, shops and restaurants at 5-10 minutes and the Brighton pier at about a 15 minutes walk. If walking is not your thing, the bus or cabs in Western Road (5 minutes) will get you anywhere you want. We've had a wonderful time, even if the weather wasn't as good as usually around this time of year. Brighton has so much to offer and London is only an hour away by train. Perfect location and perfect hosts too! Lucy made sure we had everything we needed and stayed in touch to make sure we were ok.
Lucy's place was great. It was a large space, very light, clean and in a convenient location. They were very accomodating and friendly hosts.
Lucy's flat was amazing! They are a lovely couple with a lovely flat. Both made me feel welcome and even left a carton of milk in the fridge. It's situated nicely inbetween Brighton and Hove with easy access to the sea and to shops. Definitely worth the money. I will definitely visit again.
We had a great weekend at Lucy & John's flat. It's located on the ground floor of a wonderful Art Deco building in a nice area of Hove, on the edge of a park. Within easy walking distance of the town centre and seafront, plus some great places to eat in Hove. You can also get the bus from the nearby Seven Dials to the South Downs.
The flat itself is clean, tidy, quiet and homely, and it was so nice arriving to find tea, coffee & milk all set out. Lucy & John were incredibly welcoming, and flexible in arranging arrival and departure times. The only downside is that the flat is disproportionately hot, but then you can always open a window.
We'll definitely return the next time we're in Brighton!
Lucy and John were really helpful in the lead up to our visit. We were staying the night before running Brighton Marathon and they were happy to work around us in terms of check in and check out, which was a really big hep. The flat is really well situated for the sea front (5 mins walk) and there are some nice independent cafes and pubs nearby. Would definitely recommend.
