"Tenting at it's best". Come enjoy the peace and beauty of being in a coastal spruce forest nestled in among granite boulders. Not far from the main house is your large queen bedded tent set on a spacious platform. Relax in the Adirondack chairs on your deck and listen to Mark Island fog horn, just off shore.
Tented walls, swaying pines, wefts of campfire and a super comfy bed await.
All you really need to bring is your sense of adventure. (Deer Isle is an island connected by a bridge).

The space
The main house is 170 feet from the campsite and and separately offers Binna Burra Suite, a room with a a bit of luxury and "sweet style".

I retired from customizing safaris to Africa as well as New Zealand and Australia . Although not as much as a world traveler but still up for exploring. I've lived overseas for years in amazing places: Hawaii, Australia, Pakistan and Kuwait and Malaysia. I am older but young at heart who loves adventures and wonderful experiences that enrich our lives. I love living year round in Deer Isle . This is a stunning island as well as a creative caring community. It is wonderful to have a life that includes great, creative sensitive and caring community as well as being mindful of preserving the land, the islands as well as wildlife, fishing and art!

During your stay
I enjoy chatting with guests but give them plenty of privacy to enjoy their own island experiences.
