Review : " Perfect balance between relaxing getaway and city trip. I doubt if better
value is to be found in the general Dublin area." April 2012
Fabulous house, full of history and character. Caroline was the perfect host, made us feel welcome, helped us during our stay and cooked a terrific and much needed breakfast. Very quiet, out of the way location, in a small town that has one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited (and I'm been to a lot). If you are bored with regular motels or hotels, and want something very different, then you won't be disappointed.
Bij aankomst was Caroline erg hartelijk.
De kamer zag er precies zo uit, als op de foto, evenals de badkamer. De buurt kende ik al, daar mijn zoon in Leixlip werkt, en ik al eerder op bezoek was bij hem
We had a very brief visit to Leixlip for the night & Stayed with Caroline. We had a comfortable stay. Caroline is a very friendly & hospitable host & Served a fine breakfast next morning. She very helpful in getting my kindle back to me after I left it behind. Thank you Caroline.
It was a great experience staying in this lovely house. First thanks to Caroline; she was at every moment helpful and pleasent to talk with, but at the same time gives you total liberty to move in and out and have your own space. And because her excellent Irish Brekfast of every morning, of course!
Second because of the house, a beauty, in a lovely place, very quiet and at walking distance from Intel, HP and Leixlip. All in all an experience that for me sets it apart from most other B&Bs I have been in. I will remember this one!
I loved staying in this Georgian House. The ambience was warm and the hostess very professional and cheerfull. Room was very confortable and breakfast very good.
