We had a great 1st Airbnb experience with Palle and Gitte. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome. Their gourmet breakfasts every morning were phenomenal! What a feast we had! Their room was clean and cozy and their home was beautiful! Loved their neighborhood! It was so nice to come "home" each day after a hectic day in the city. They provided bikes for us to use, but decided we were not comfortable riding with all the traffic in the city. They have a beautiful yard with gorgeous flowers and windchimes and other neat decorations. They invited us to a lovely dinner on the last night and it was delicious. Enjoyed our many talks about living in Denmark and our families. The free coffee and tea in the room and the refrigerator was great too. The free internet connection was very helpful. All in all we were very happy with the experience and Palle and Gitte were so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend them to anyone staying in Copenhagen that would like to be in a nice quiet area surrounded by nature.
Pelle, was great! He made me feel very welcome and the room was as described & clean.
House is beautiful and in a very unique location. It was great to be able to borrow Palles bike, which is the best way to explore Copenhagen.
Breakfast was fantastic and I can only recommend it.
I am very grateful to Palle and Gitte for their great hospitality. Both are very friendly, communicable and very informative concerning Copenhagen, places of interest, traffic and other valuble tips.
Every day a continental substantive tasty and different breakfast was served by Palle. His speciality is a home made fresh and tasty bread.
The house is in a small but nicly looked garden. Enormous priviledge is an opportunity to take a bike. There is a short distance from Palle's house ( approximately 15 min) to the historical centre of the city. Copenhagen is a best place for safe and pleasant cycling.
Surrounding of the house with a huge park 200 m apart is very interesting and suitable for walking, cycling, jogging. There are some other attractions in the vicinity like "little ZOO", play graunds for children, shops.
Grazie e a presto
A nice place to stay in an unusual community of small wooden houses. The place is about 4 kms from downtown Copenhagen and the easiest way to visit the city is to use the bikes friendly lended by the owners. Everything was Ok with us for our first experience with Airbnb.
A place to recommend.
Les and I arrived to a charming and cozy room with fresh cut flowers on a tabletop. The house is situated 5km from the old town and we were provided with bikes. We used the bikes for 2 days and it made our stay unforgettable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The food prepared by Gitta was delicious.
If you don't mind sharing the bathroom with your host than I would recommend this place for staying in Copenhagen.
