Leaving home
In this Rome's Corner you can find relax and nightlife, in fact in the alley that is characteristic and very quiet, you can experience and feel the magic atmosphere of Rome. Here you can find a small cinema in original language, a art gallery, a typical carpenter's shop and a old grocery where you can buy all your foods.
Just outside the alley, penetrating in the heart of Trastevere, shops, fun, wine bar, folklore, trattorias and improvised markets there are present in any corner.

The apartment is located in a strategic place to visit Rome by walk :
if you go to the left, in 10 minutes, you are in St. Peter's and Castel Sant'Angelo;
if you go straight, crossing the bridge, you reach the most beautiful and accurate area of the center (there are many local, shopping and art site), in 8 minute you reach Campo de Fiori, 9 min Piazza Navona and in a minute more you can see the Pantheon. You can still choose to go Piazza Venezia and Colosseum (10 min more) or Piazza di Spagna (15 min more)
To the. right, in 2 minutes, you reach the heart of Trastevere with S.M. in Trastevere and Piazza Trilussa (the neighborhood that represents Rome at its best).

  • Stefano was a wonderful host. He greeted us as promised and introduced us to the spacious apartment, and gave us the lowdown on the area. The apartment was thoughtfully renovated, with everything we needed, with the added bonus of the original arched windows facing up towards the Gianicolo hill and gardens. The kitchen was very well-equipped and easy to cook and clean up in. Stefano had left the basics like olive oil, and cooking ingredients which made meals with the great Roman produce easy.The beds were comfy, aircon worked well, as did the shower and bathroom. The apartment block was very low key, and we met a number of the residents as we wandered in and had some very lovely interactions in our basic Italian! The location, Trastevere was perfect, away from the craziness but an easy walk across the bridge and then buses if we'd done enough walking. We found a lovely little Osteria just opened called Numero 6 with a gorgeous host and great food, and fabulous gelati at Fatamorgana. Also the family-run business on the corner of via degli orto albert was great for day today produce and a very friendly mob. Thanks Stefano for a great stay in Rome!

  • Had a fantastic time in Travestere! The hill behind the apartment might have been the best kept secret in all of Rome. Beautiful walk up the hill, view of the entire city, walk down into Travestere for a fantastic meal anywhere! Stefano was a great host. The flat is spacious and clean with anything you need. Highly recommend this location and apartment. Thank you stefano! Ciao!

  • We had a really good week staying in Stefanos wonderful apartment. For a family with five people we had more than enough space and beds. The beautiful view over Janiculum from the windows, the perfect location in Trastevere and the early warm spring weather summons up this great week. All the communication with Stefano has been easy and straight. I can higly reccomend him and the apartment.

  • We stayed at Stefano's loft for a long week-end and it was quite nice. It is located 10mn from Trastevere which was very convenient to get diner. The apartment has a great location, 20mn from the vatican per walk. It was very clean, spacious with comfortable beds and pretty quiet. Nice bathrooms. Definetly a good place and looking forward to going back to Roma in the next future. Thank you Stefano, it was great to meeting you, you were a good host and it was easy to communicate. See you soon ! Ciao

  • Stefano was very welcoming and we loved his loft apartment. It was ideal for the 6 of us, plenty of room, light and bright with a modern decor and lovely views onto trees and in an attractive area. Easy to get to Trastevere restaurants which Stefano gave us excellent recommendations for. the beds are all comfortable including the sofa bed. absolutely ideal for a 3 day visit to Rome with easy access by foot, bus or metro to all the sights and to explore off the tourist route too.

  • Very nice apartment well represented by the photos. Located in a residential area but only 7 minutes walk from the more lively Trastevere main plaza and 12 minutes walk to the Vatican. I was accompanied by my husband and daughter so we had lots of room and appreciated two bathrooms. We didn't cook but the kitchen seemed equipped with the basics. The washer was almost new and in good working condition. There is a small grocery at the first cross street with friendly staff. Stefano was very easy to work with and sent information about the neighborhood ahead of time. He arranged transportation from the airport and even called the airlines for us when our luggage did not arrive on our plane.
