Free laundry on lower level. Parking is easy within a 1/2 block walk.
My apartment has been fully remodeled since photos were taken. New kitchen, new bathrooms and hardwood floors throughout. New photos coming soon!
Just the normal common sense stuff with a few special requests:
-- always keep the front gate closed
-- please be nice to my new cream couch and don't sit on it with dark denim jeans, and
-- please don't set glasses on wood furniture
One more amazing stay at Jen's place!!! We are never let down and she just completed a lovely remodel so now there are pretty wood floors and beautiful baths. It's always nice to wake up to the sun rising over the bay....
We look forward to staying with Jen again!
Jennifer's apartment is a jewel. I stayed there with my parents, husband and brother and we were all very comfortable during our 10 day stay. The main living area is very spacious, the couch is huge and the chair is super comfortable. We cooked a lot, and the kitchen in fully set with enough dishes/ pots for a family of five. The view is pretty amazing, specially at dusk. The bedrooms are also very spacious and the beds comfy as well. Because the bedrooms are toward the front of the apartment, they are pretty quiet, while the living area faces the highway.
Everything worked perfectly, free wireless (we had 4 computers) and cable TV. It rained for 2 days straight, so we stayed in a lot and it was spacious enough for all 5 of us.
The apartment is very close to the train (T line) and trolley (22). With those 2 lines, we were able to navigate all around town. Two blocks each way we found amazing lasagna and Italian food. There is also a commune market in less than 2 blocks with fresh bread (and beer).
Jennifer was a great host. The check-in and check-out simple enough and she was always available via text or phone. It was truly a great experience that we all cherished.
We had a great time at Jennifer's place. It is so bright and airy. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and seeing the lights of the City at night when walking back to her place. We rode the (email hidden). and 20th Street in the Dogpatch area when we wanted to go downtown. Jen has a kitchen with all kinds of pots and pans and a gas range. We enjoyed the grocery store in the neighborhood that she recommended to us--Good Life Grocery. We ate a delicious pizza at Goat Hill Pizza which is within walking distance. If you like to sleep late take the middle bedroom because the sun might wake you up if it is sunny when you are there. We enjoyed the special gravity water filter she has on the counter. We also walked to California College of Art to see an exhibit. Lovely weather in October!
I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Jen's place while my mom and aunt were visiting from out of town. From the very beginning communication and conversation was super easy with Jen. She was very accommodating and thorough with apartment viewing, key exchange and instructions for our stay. Her place is bright, spacious, elegantly decorated and very homely. Jen's kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and utensils that you may need and this made us feel even more at home. The location is convenient with easy access to the bus system, highway, nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Having a car would be useful if you are not comfortable walking on some steep hills ;)
There was a minor mixup with logistics at the end of our stay, but Jen resolved the situation very graciously and in a timely manner, especially being out of the country at the time. Overall, I was very impressed by her professionalism and fairness. I would give this experience seven stars if possible! I highly recommend staying at Jen's place if you are visiting San Francisco.
Jennifers apt is fabulous! 3 perfectly appointed bedrooms, great kitchen and a very hip living room right out of Mad Men!!
The neighborhood is awesome and there are so many great restaurants within walkin distance! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
